  1. Or maybe my iPad is being finicky, I can see now, beautiful!
  2. Beautiful photos, the second last one is just the cutest! The colours look fine (on iPad) I tend to like photo colours a little more saturated than normal but seriously they look pretty spot on to me!
  3. Wow that's awesome, I bet the dogs owners were wrapped!
  4. Wow G139, totally awesome! Curious what's the pink background behind Athena! And post away the more the merrier. I have a couple of iPhone snaps I need to add I better get on it! JackC how Kodak going? I can't see Harvey's pic?
  5. I would love that lens too but not sure I could lug it around! Seriously though if you want the 70-200 why not go the f/4 its awesome and combined with the low light capabilities your 5D has to offer you would still take awesome shots with it in low light situations. 24-70 and 70 - 200 perfect kit! However in saying that I do still love prime lenses, the 85mm is awesome! I only payed around $600 for my 70-200 f/4 at DWI
  6. I guess another thing worth pointing out is these pics are reduced in size and quality for uploading so all under 1mb, the full size images are amazing! I will be really interested to see what you think of the full frame when you get it. G139, have you noticed a lot of difference comparing the FF to the crop?
  7. Thanks G139, the cheese shots were great, hard to convince the big fella he was allowed up to the bench to lick the cheese, not sure if you can tell the big pile of cheese is actually out of his reach and the little bit in front he could get to for the shot. I got some beauties in this set. Your right about the sigma lenses, my 24-70 is Sigma and while still not cheap, much cheaper than the canon and does an excellent job. Well i think so!
  8. Sorry for the over load, tried to do a bit of a cross section, sorry I haven't got more kid shots to share, I haven't had a chance to give my 85mm a good try out on people yet. All of the above were taken with the 24-70mm f/2.8, 70-200mm f/4, 85mm The only one with flash is the flower bud in the first lot. The high iso performance is amazing!
  9. I have heaps that I could share, how to choose, I will upload a few of my favourites so far! Whoops forgot to add beautiful Picture of the little boy!
  10. These are awesome Mandy, certainly not something you see every day! Wonder how he came to be there?
  11. I had a bit of a love hate relationship with the 7D, a friend has it now and loving it! Ah the 1DX wouldn't all us Canon shooters love one of them babies! We can dream I guess!
  12. Santo66 have you had/tried both cameras? Just have add that the AF on the 6D is every bit as fast as the 7D. I've had both cameras and I use th 6D for the dogs all the time for fast running action and apart from the fps it's every bit as good actually I'd go as far as to say better. Of course it will depend on what glass your using too.
  13. Always a good idea to export your edited photos to a folder once you edit them anyway, just in case. You can choose quality and size so if you want to be able to upload to forum or photobucket you can resize smaller. I use Lightroom and always do two exports of every session one at full resolution and one at an exceptable file size for the web with watermark.
  14. Great shots in here guys! Dd you get what you wanted? If so yippppeeeee! can't wait to see your photos! You WILL be blown away, I guarantee it!!!
  15. Thats great Pers, loving the photos in here. I had a go at raindrops yesterday too, I am always chasing that perfect raindrop! Seen some beautiful pictures by a photographer that is on my Facebook with drops of water with baby photo in them, they were so cute!
  16. Lovely, the kitty looks good for 20, my old girl is nearly 21 and a half now, she loves her food too, although not sure she's knaw on a bone!
  17. Did you get your new camera yet? Hope you pop back in and let us low what you think!
  18. Great shots! Love the mushrooms especially!
  19. geez busy in here! I was wrapped with the bit in the paper and to be included along side photographers like Perry Cho is a bit of an achievement! I started a group a few months ago for local photographers and we have since had 88 people to date join from very amateurs to very professional. It's been great. Can't believe no ones posted in here for just over a month! Guess Facey is more popular now!
  20. I seen this one on Facebook, just gorgeous!
