I have the latest OS on my mac so it might not work, might give it a whirl after work tonight!
-
So if you already have 4 does that mean you can download 5 as an update. The extras sound pretty cool.

I just checked the difference, I got my stuff new from Kogan. 85mm was $349 compared to B&H $359 speedlight was $249 compared to B&H $254 delivery was $38 compared to B&H $47.26 So not a lot in it really $24 the diff over all. Great prices all round. I have never used Kogan before but have heard such good things thought I would give them a go. I usually use DWI but have gone off them a bit, a mate got his 85mm 1.8 the other day and suspended in one of the elements was a fibre of some kind. How does something like that get past QC? I wonder! B&H have a much bigger range than Kogan obviously so some great bargains to be had. I was just lucky the things I wanted Kogan had!

Im just checking it out, Only not 10 minutes ago I just purchased the 85mm and a flash, will be interesting to see if B&H prices are cheaper.

Na turns out I sold it to one of my besties here in town on Facebook! She had wanted to upgrade from her 450D so seemed like a good time!
-
If I can't sell it I definitely will. I wasn't worried as I still have my hubby's 650D as well. Not much interest here so will probly put it on gum tree.

Hi Guys just thought I would pop a post in here to see if there was any interest before I decide to put it in the market place. I am thinking about selling my Canon 7D. I have the 6D now and since have hardly picked up the 7D, even though it is awesome for action 8fps faster than the full frame. I just love the full frame and its my go to camera for everything. So the 7D sits and stares at me. it deserves a good home and I can use the money to buy a flash and possibly a new lens for the 6D. The 7D is only 9 months old, it would come with 7D body 50mm 1.8 Lens (like new only used a few times.) an after market battery grip with two after market batteries plus a genuine Canon Battery. 2 x 8mb Compact Flash cards (Genuine sandisk extreme 60MB/s, Worth $70 each, one has only been used once) remote shutter. The camera has just been to Canon and been serviced the AF system has been adjusted and it is all in perfect working order. I would estimate around actuations to be around 30,000 give or take a few. I'd be asking around the $1200 mark. I am still in two minds about selling it so popping this post up here will make me decide either way.

Great shot Pers!

How's Sammy today? Any ill effects from the putty?
-
Great shots, I love the one where your two big boys look like they are screaming at each other! What lens did you use for these? The IQ looks amazing! Peanut looks like a cutie pie!
-
Do you know what sort of putty it was? I'd assume it was glazing putty. if it was it is generally made up of Linseed oil and chalk and in moderation neither will be toxic to ingest. I would think you would have more worry with the wood splinters but it would go soggy in his tummy so should pass ok. Two of mine had wood fetishes, when they were pups and I went to work they stayed inside and over time practically devoured the dowel between the bottoms of my chairs. After the puppy stage we had to buy a new dining setting. Its amazing what their tummies can withstand. Poo patrol tomorrow might be interesting! But seriously hope he is ok!

Awww sweet Maggie, lovely!!

I know. Her face is hilarious, it was actually a bigger pictures but it was mostly Tarnis rear end, I cropped it so it was more becoming!

 thought you might like it. I use it for borders and collages. I mainly use Lightroom for editing my photo which is amazing. You can download a trial from adobe.

I am in awe of the turtles! Just amazing. You may get a friend request on facey from a girl from my work, she is from Scotland over here studying to be a marine biologist. I share and show her your photos, she is in awe too! She wants to come over and go diving with you. her name is Louise, so if you se a friend request you will know who it is!

 you will love it, let me know how you go!

Awww thats so cute, he's got that "derp" look on his face! I think even though this thread is 52 weeks, we should feel free to post about our 52 week dog or dogs in my case anytime we like! I am loving all the photos, but a week in between seems like too long! and there is not that many of us here.
-
Well I think that's a pretty good effort! Mine have learnt if we are out and about and I have my camera and treats to line up if I ask them too. years of practice. I usually wait till they had all ad a good run, it makes it easier. Clay is just dreamy! The long cloud was a jet stream, I got to the park as it went over so by the time I was ready for the shot the jet was long gone and the jet stream had all dispersed giving it that effect. :) Either to add, I don't mind extra pics at all, the more the merrier. I always love this thread as it gets through the year you feel like you really know each dog!

How Often Do We Do The 'annual' Vaccination?
tlc replied to Jess the Lab's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
So technically when I went with my guys the other day they should have only had the Bordetella and nothing else as they were vaccinated last yet and yet they still had the C3? I'm confused! Also mine won't be having the Bordettela up the nose stuff again as Lacy had a reaction to this one 6 hours after the stuff was given, eyes swelled, ears blotched up and would have got worse, we were at the vets within 15 minutes by the time we got there she was scratching herself silly and shaking her head like crazy. Within 15 mins of the antihistamine being given she was nearly back to normal. This is the second time one of my guys has reacted to vaccines. Cooper had a reaction as a pup, much worse than Lacy and happened within 15 mins of the vacc being given. The vet said dogs are more likely to react to the bacterial vaccines such as the Bordetella and not the viral ones like the C3. In any case, I really despise having to give them vaccination and there is so much conflicting info it's hard to know what to go with! We trust our vets but how do we know if they are doing the right thing? Another thing I'm wondering is it possible for a dog to have an upset tummy, the runs and just a little unwell 3-4 days after the vaccination? -
That's almost exactly what I was going to,say. Well done you two!

If you donwload Picasa HERE it is a really easy editing program, you can do so much with it. and cropping is the easy part. The program is free. you can do smile edits, make photos black and white, make collages, add titles, make borders and so much other stuff. Its a really fun program and easy to use.

I had a great time today, just going through the photos now, the kids were great sports about having their photos taken, even snuck in a sneaky one of Jemma at the park.

Some great photos there Pesh, you are going great guns. I like this one the most. One thing to keep an eye on is see your horizon on the waterline, my eye is instantly drawn to the fact that the horizon is not level. It is easy to fix in your post processing. What program are you using? Most have a crop tool and you can usually rotate the image a bit to level the horizon. I try to get it right in camera but more often than not I am correcting my horizons in my PP. Keep up the good work!

Lovely photos, great job! This is probably a silly question but what do you do if a car comes the other way or are you on private property?
