  1. No fair! You is tormenting me now! Me wants Rotti puppy so bad... T.
  2. A well bred and stable tempered Rotti wouldn't pull like a Labrador... *grin* T.
  3. But she's got the perfect colouring for taking lovely photographs of... as well as being a cheeky little pudding who seems to like posing... *grin* T.
  4. Actually... I want to come live as a pet at your house Stressmagnet! T.
  5. Yep - definitely Yellow and Red (in that order) for me! T.
  6. Yup :) Quadruple yep!!! :D The hunting and fire making skills I learned from our house boi in PNG woill come in handy for keeping me and my Rotti fed... *grin* Rotti is definitely for cuddle factor and companionship - never had one that might have been any good at hunting... errr! T.
  7. I'd say you just don't need to be getting ANY "advice" about training Ernie from that particular trainer - she's way off the mark. Seriously... MY dogs would want to come live with you if they could read Ernie's daily routine! (I'm not reading it to them or they may leave home to find yours) T.
  8. I'd be leery of any vet who is advocating a C5 TWICE in a short timeframe. A single C3 should give adequate protection against the 3 big diseases within 1 to 2 weeks (if administered to an otherwise healthy dog). I'd tell your friend to find another vet. T.
  9. Mine too... yellow is winning the prettiest stakes though... T.
  10. Most of the spitz and spitz crosses I've come across can be rather aloof and stubborn... but that may just be the ones I've met... *grin* T.
  11. OMG! She's so pretty... me wants so bad! Last call... anyone want to take any of my current lot so I can have me a gorgeous Rotti baby? T.
  12. And I'm pretty sure that this litter has a few future champions in there too... they are completely stunning! T.
  13. Hahaha at the 3rd pic! Did they eat much of the seaweed? T.
  14. I figure that if my Lab can survive the summer we had over a week of near or over 40 degree heat with all her fur on, then I'm not about to clip her - no air-con here either. I must admit that she was inside with the shades drawn and the ceiling fans on high during the worst of the days' heat, and I supplied a clam shell pool for her bathing pleasure when I got home from work... T.
  15. Just because you may have X number of kennels - doesn't mean you HAVE to fill them with X number of animals... If you can't adequately exercise and stimulate X animals, simply don't store X animals in your kennels. The rescue I volunteered for had 80 kennels - and we worked out that 25 animals at any given time was the best number for us - just in case vollies didn't turn up and only 1 person would be left to do all the work on any given day. You can't bank on vollies always showing up... T.
  16. Anyone trying to come into my backyard needs to go through 2 sets of gates... and after the first set, the dogs WILL be letting you know that you might not want to come through the second set... T.
  17. Are you superstitous too? :) Yep - I'm a bit of a fan of number 2 pups... and tend to try to avoid number 3's... Sweet! But still very enamoured with Red - even though she's a girl... *grin* T.
  18. Back at ya!!! Blue looks to be the one to watch out for... look at the glint in his eyes... I'm seriously in love with Red and Yellow... if only I had less dogs right now... I'd be clamouring for one of them! P.S... is everyone sure they don't want any of my current 4 mutts? Not even for free? T.
