I do agility on Tuesdays but usually throw in a bit of obedience at the end.

I was always considering a Beagle for my next dog, then the Aussies caught my eye. Who knows, I may go back to a Beagle, Daisy is an inspiration

19/40 for the heelwork? I don't think so!! Mid to high 30's But then again, I'm not a judge, but I thought it was beautiful I leave my hands in my middle for the SFE, recall and COP, especially recall because that is where I like to return them to once I call But heelwork, I leave one hanging so I can keep balance while marching around ;)
-
Once I started trying to tidy my handling skills up, I had both hands in the middle, but also found it hard to keep my balance So I switched to one arm hanging freely, and now it just feels so natural!

Well I can still help with UD stays And Open stays for a little bit longer, as we're not ready to be in there just yet! I'll come find some new friends with you, because I am hoping at some stage Millie will be in Open too, then I'll be stuck!

Open Obedience- Cop Or Broad Jump.

Ok, count me and the Labs out of this option in that case  Cute. Yes I can do that to my girls too but in the UD food refusal I am pretty sure the judge takes the food up on a platter and waves it under their nose. And they have to maintain the 3 positions each time (stand, sit, down). Someone of course correct me if I'm wrong, cos I've never really read up on it! -
At training this arvo, I had Millie climb over my back seat then climb out the back window Never mind the fact that we'd just spent 2 hours training and playing i-squeak, the second I wanted to practice a SFE with Ruby without Millie and her i-squeak going off, she didn't like this one bit so made every effort to join us again 7 dogs all on your own, Ptolomy? Keeping an eye on my 2 on my own is hard enough!

:p See I knew I would get that response in general, which is why it makes it an appealing one to teach for Labs I probably won't, though -
Now I'm going to have to go shopping :D

The optional exercises in UD is another story though, that is where I might train for a couple. I think I need to train my Labs in food refusal  -

COP here, too. Can't be bothered training the broad jump too when I won't use it in obedience! And jumping over it in agility is different  -

See I'm a handbag hoarder, I buy one and then a month or two later I'm sick of it and want a new one. So it only makes sense that I get sick of my collars and leads! Saying that though, I've been very good lately! I've had the same handbag and matching purse coming up to a year now (good old Jag :D) and the girls haven't had a new collar and lead in 18 months I think that is bordering on abuse if you ask me! :D
