  1. I like the bubblegum one Nice and girly
  2. What I really want though is a flat collar and lead set from Walkewoo. The signature dots range But that would cost me over $100 for a collar and lead set including postage for the 2 dogs I bought some ribbon to make my own collar but can't find webbing anywhere!
  3. I can't afford it this week either, plus I don't want to rush my decision! Maybe in a few weeks or so? Had a look at the Kollars by Kathryn one, but I think I prefer the ones at Rush to Tug
  4. Pfft! You know I'm a good influence So I take that as a yes?
  5. WANT WANT WANT WANT WANT WANT WANT WANT !! Me too Wanna share postage costs? :D
  6. Tiggy, is your tug lead strong? Does it stretch if Banjo were to pull on it while attached to him? I'm looking for one that won't stretch if the dog pulls on it, I want it to stay pretty much the length it is even if they pull if you know what I mean?!
  7. How come?? It comes off them anyway right? My girls will run naked.
  8. http://www.rushtotug.com/index.html It is the all in one martingale collar/lead :D . It's so pretty I don't want Banjo tugging on it . I'll use this one for training then buy him a new one for his first trial. I think I must have visited this site before - all her stuff is soooo pretttty!! I want to buy some stuff, yet Millie doesn't tug and Ruby does but she'd rather food or the i-squeak I think I'm gonna have to order some stuff soon, they're loooooooooong overdue for a new collar/lead! I really like Banjo's
  9. Tiggy, verra niice!! Where did you get it from? Is that all in one unit (the collar/lead thing) with his name on it? The name is purdy, I want one for my girls!
  10. I'm not even sure why they need to shave unless perhaps it's a breed with long hair? Both my girls have been under anaesthetic twice before each and once each they have been shaved, the other time not, so it doesn't make sense to me when and why they decide to shave??
  11. I saw Sophie at the mock trial and she was working great, would be a shame not to pursue it with her
  12. Cool Maybe mirawee will pinch BanJovi for her Banjo, can't let a good name like that go to waste can we
  13. If you've only just submitted the form and it isn't processed yet, I'm sure it won't be too much hassle for them to change it?
  14. So you've bailed on the idea of Banjo's CCD debut sometime? You guys were going awesome!
  15. Mine too except I don't actually do the walk part all that often! Me too, except if I'm out to train we don't walk first, I drive them to the park. I keep walking separate from training but find I train waaaaaaaay more often than I simply walk the dogs But I enjoy training so much more and they love training too, so it's all good
  16. Tiggy. You change your mind between obedience and agility more often than you change your underwear Kidding
  17. Yes. You'd have 2 registered names for 2 different organisations, both being the same name but with different titles. Your ADAA titles can't go on your ANKC registered name (and vice versa) because it's a different organisation. At least that is how I interpret it, anybody feel free to correct me if I'm wrong! So if I join ADAA, I will probably just use different and short names to that registered with ANKC.
  18. I think it has to be off for longer than 8 hours, something like 12 or 14 to make a claim. I made a claim for mine from that big storm we had earlier in the year and I'm still yet to get it
  19. Lol I have put a shirt on Mason today, he seems much happier with it on, not scratching as much. I hope it's not a cotton shirt! I hope you didn't soak it in petrol ;) I WAS going to add that too, but wasn't sure most people would have understood why I said that Stop stealing my thoughts you ;)

  21. I actually can't remember exactly how I fell in love with Labradors, but I think it all started around the time I was in early high school, and the girl around the corner owned a Golden Retriever. It was such a lovely dog, and different to what we'd owned growing up (maltese, yorkies and aussie terriers - small dogs!) I remember thinking I'd love one too, but would prefer a Lab, which was strange cos I'd always been a lover of dogs with a longer coat. Labs were the first dog that made me go against that trend! I guess it was stuck in my mind (and heart!) getting a Lab for many years, that I finally got one of my own as an adult as the parents wouldn't allow me to get a larger dog growing up. Now I own 2 Labs, and my Dad has fallen in love with Labs too and is desperate for his own! ;)
  22. ACT drops CCD too. Interestingly they don't drop the lower retrieving titles, which I've been told is for the same reason that QLD keeps the CCD title. You don't have to have applied for the previous title to gain the higher one. So even though Polo gained his CCD title, his pedigree only reads Topnotch Lord CDX NRD RRD. So the NRD doesn't get dropped in the ACT? What about other states?
  23. beagie, do you still compete in retrieving?
  24. OK, I emailed DogsWest for clarification. Here is the response: So even though my question about it not being shown on the certificate title wasn't really answered, at least this clarified it has been updated on the system and the other thing it clarified, was Seita's statement a while back about CCD still being on the dog's registered name. At least in WA's case, the CCD is superceded by the CD like one would think
