Here's my little live wire Marcus emailed me from yesterday. and then helping Mummy with a spot of gardening. yes T, he seems oblivious to the fact that he's squashing her. I've already got one of them here. This is my dopey 18kg Tag the whippet squashing Iggy Mums little boy Beau who probably weighs about 4.5kg and looks like his life might be flashing before his eyes  Iggy Pillow. by kirislin, on Flickr

I'm getting a toy breed soon and things like this scare me. It's bad enough with whippets, but I'll worry even more with an Italian Greyhound.

I'm not picking on her. I couldn't help noticing that the language on her page was pretty ripe, and not just from her, or about the terrible incident with her poor little dog. It's just the way she and her friends talk, but I dont for a moment think that she or her dog deserved what happened. NEVER NEVER NEVER

Yes, Widge is a wonderful mother and her biggest son is almost whippet sized. I love the photo of him squashing my baby girl, of all the photos I've taken I dont think I've seen them like that so I'm a bit envious.

Deerhound Needing Rescue

I hope it's true. -

I dont think that photo is of her, but I might be wrong.

That's true. I noticed it more because of the wording, calling the dog a puppy. I just had a squizz at her facebook page hoping for more info on the story. Didn't get any, but oh my dear! the language. https://www.facebook.com/tauri.chris

Poor little dog and owner. It would've been a horrible experience. I've never heard of a grey and white mastiff, and the victim looks like a mature dog to me, not a puppy. As BlackJaq said, does it tug at the heart strings more if a beautiful woman looses her puppy.

Bones For A Puppy Who Inhales Everything?
Kirislin replied to a topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Look in the freezer section of Coles. I dont know about Woolies, there's none near where I live. One frozen turkey maryland from Coles costs about $7.50 but it weighs over 2kg. It's like a leg of lamb in size. -
Bones For A Puppy Who Inhales Everything?

Coles sell frozen turkey maryland for about $3.30 per kilo. You'd probably be able to cut it into drumstick and thigh for him so get 2 meals out of it. -

Need Advice With 7 Month Old Adopted Husky - Help!
Kirislin replied to husky700's topic in Puppy Chat
No advice from me but what a sad story this is. Poor little pup must be absolutely terrified, all she's ever known has suddenly gone and the foolish breeder never bothered to put the time and effort into socialising her. I wish you good luck with her. -
neither of these apply.

many thanks

I'm having a discussion with a friend at the moment. I've been telling him he must provide microchip numbers when advertising puppies for sale in Victoria. Am I right? Where can I find the legislation?

If this is directed at me call it what you want, the end result is the same, the dog needs a new loving reliable home. -

It looks like they loved him once. -
I happened to be in a vet clinic in Kew yesterday and saw a notice on their board about a deerhound free to a good home. McDuff is a 7yo male deerhound, fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. The notice said his owners have a baby now and dont want him anymore. Someone else aware of his situation has put the notice up and said he doesn't have many years left, probably only 1 or 2 and needs a soft landing, somewhere to spend his golden years. the person to contact is Tabitha 9859 6225 I just thought posting on DOL might help him. deerhound ad 3 by kirislin, on Flickr deerhound ad 2 by kirislin, on Flickr deerhound ad 1 by kirislin, on Flickr

How gruesome.

He's a big boy, looks like a ring in from another litter. The mum is Widget, although she started out her life being called Gidget.
