Only just seen this thread, I generally try to avoid rescue cause it's all just too sad. Good job rescuing this poor little kitten but geeze I wish the vet had xrayed her at the start because if it's bad news it's going to be so much harder for you to let her go. Has she been on pain meds at all during the time you've had her. Having had a broken back myself I can say with confidence, it's absolute agony.

One of mine stole a lebanese cucumber off the kitchen counter, little turds. At least they were smart enough to peel the plastic off it.

I'm confused, on page 2 I got the impression you thought they hadn't scored well but it seems maybe they did do well after all. I've been out all day so haven't been able to watch or listen to the scoring, can you tell me what happened. I gather it was good anyway, so congratulations.

That's actually Feathers mum Kibah, she's the same one eating the banana. And thanks for the comments on her collar, I made it. :D

Yep, mine eat the fruit if they get it but mostly I cut the skin off leaving a generous amount of flesh for them, they eat it all, skin too.

Did you get the pup back, is she OK?

Last one. I did this a few days ago and then it seemed to disappear, and now it's come back. It's only done with the one image but I put it through the HDR program that comes with the lastest version of DPP. I like this version of B&W better than the "normal" one. I dont see why you felt the need to bag other photographers you consider less skilled than yourself. Your work speaks for itself, but if some clients can't appreciate it and go to someone you consider inferior to you, then they wouldn't appreciate the skill, talent and effort you put into your work, in short, they dont deserve you. Canning someone because they have a better camera than you have just makes you sound jealous and bitter.

what a clever idea, I could've gone into the dog bed production with the amount of fluff I've picked up from murdered toys.

well this is partly my problem, complete lack of confidence and the feeling I have little natural talent for what looks right. I understand the rule of thirds and I understand that a photo needs to be composed in a way that it draws your eye to the subject and has a balance about it but I lack confidence in myself to recognise whether I've got it or not. As soon as I saw the photo I thought it was lovely but I wondered if there were glaring faults that I couldn't see. I knew I'd gone too close to the top of his head, but I didn't see the car as a distraction until it was pointed out to me. Mostly my photos are action type photos, I have a beautiful camera and lens that can capture the action, I dont manage to take many that tell a story or show an emotion or feeling like so many photographers here can do, I'd love to be able to do that everytime I look through the viewfinder. You might notice I haven't posted in the thread about my photographic strengths :laugh: and I dont sell my work, (or have a pretty camera bag) it's still just a hobby for me, but one that gives me enormous pleasure.
