Kibah and her shadow. Feather and Kibah, shadow stacking

I reckon it would have to be grateful for the good old fashioned Aussie backyard, that one is a ripper and kids who grow up in modern houses would have no idea of the way it used to be.

wow, it looks like a geyser! great photo
-
it looks pretty sharp. You'd be able to clone that hair off. Have you got a Canon and if so have downloaded the programs that come with it? Go into DPP you can fix it using the stamp tool.

He sure is enjoying that Big Bad Banksia Man!

fabulous cockie pics, I've seen them here but never been able to acheive photos like this.

great perspective on the spider, it just gave me shivers though, imagine walking around the garden and having that drape itself across your face.
-
congratulations. I am sure once you get used to it you will love it. It's the lens I use most of all.
-
thanks bella

I like the garden gnome too, and henny penny.

Is she jumping?

hahaha have you sticky taped the wand to his little paw? :D oh no, I just remembered, this is the little fella who broke his leg isn't it. Must have been a spell gone wrong.
-
thanks, :D I tried to repeat these a few months later paying attention to keeping the camera straight but I didn't think they were as good as these ones. I suppose cause these weren't planned.
-
I dont think it's made mine any fuzzier that it already was. Here's Puck I was a bit heavy handed with saturation in the other one I fixed though. Wont post it here but it's in another thread.
-
I think these are really cute. I took them almost a year ago but they were all crooked and so I never posted them. In my thread yesterday about getting sharp pics Picasa came up and I went back and had a look at it, and to my excitement discovered it has a straightening tool Boy could I give that tool a work out. Anyway it enabled me to correct these ones, my two little sticky noses Puck and his mum Penny. Pucky was peeking first and then Penny wanted to see too.

I think I'd read something about the ISO regarding that before LindaK and although I didn't understand it I usually stick to 200,400,600 etc.
-
thanks for the advice, it's worked. That's a pity about the pics looking fuzzy though cause that's how this whole thing started, I wanted sharp pics. Anyway I'll see how they look soon.

I got all excited when I discovered I can straighten pics in picasa cause I have had a problem sometimes getting it straight and haven't posted alot of otherwise nice photos cause they were a bit crooked. I really hope I can work this out cause there's some cuties I want to post but they're no good as they are. I have to correct them. If I can they've got a bit of aawwwwww factor. I'll look into photoscape too

I've been looking at Picasa because it's supposed to be user friendly, they dont know me though It's got this wonderful straightening tool so I went back to some old pics and straightened them, or so I thought, I'd adjust each one and press apply but when I went to look at them in the normal storage, zoom browser, the changes haven't worked. What do I do to make them apply?

Pic is just a touch soft, not too bad tho. Don't overdo the unsharp mask, that's even worse. It's the background that is the real problem, what a mess. Hot spots & a lump of wood sprouting from the dogs nose are the real killers of the pic. Tip is check the background before you press the button. Good luck. Honest I just walked outside squatted down and took the pic with no thought at all to composition I just wanted to get him in focus to see if I could produce a sharp pic.
-
I really like this. You can see them still wearing their tiny seed capsules like little hats.
-
thanks wags, tlc and bianca for having a go at sharpening it. And thanks to all for the encouragement. I do think I need to get away from using my lenses almost wide open, at least for close ups, there's no margin for error and I probably need to look at another editing program.
-
thankyou everyone who's said kind things about my pics, I promise I am not fishing for compliments. I see them very differently but maybe we are all critical of our own. I am beginning to wonder if I should look at another editing program, the thought of which fills me with dread. hahahaha.
