that's terrible. I didn't know her but what true dog lover she must have been. I'm very sorry for her family and friends and those who loved her.

Is My Pup Traumatized? What Should I Do?

If puppy seems OK then leave it at that. I'd be more worried they'll shine the laser into his eyes. -

I think this is what the (mutual) friend of Mrs Rusty Bucket and Suziwong66 and mine, is doing to bring her sighthound over.

That was my 1st thought also. doesn't apply in my case. I wish I could care for myself as well as I do for my dogs.

mmmmmm yes. I think alot of people, me included, expect to see prime examples of the breed at a dog show, not fat soft unfit puddings.

that's clever LisaCC! I dont need to weigh my dogs, I just go by sight, although I do have an idea of their weights from when they go to the vet. I've noticed as they age they all lose weight, from muscle loss, even though they look the same at first. I do notice the muscle loss with Feather, and I did with Kibah and Pennym but the boys still look much the same to me. I only realise they're aging when I weigh them

Terrible Things Your Dog Is Forced To Endure

I forced Neko to stand naked on a freezing cold tree stump today just so I could take her photo in the snow. I'm a mean Mummy 5F6A1121_1 by kirislin, on Flickr -
My Mummy's cruel to me, she makes me stand in the freezing cold just so she can take my photo! 5F6A1121_1 by kirislin, on Flickr

I remember someone here posting about a fat labrador at Crufts and they had shreds torn off them, people saying what would they know etc. My brother abused me terribly on the weekend when he saw my IG telling me I was starving her. His own dogs are grossly overweight.

Feather and Neko just did the cutest funniest thing. Feather likes to be covered over with a blanket so this morning I'd done that but she was laying on part of it and then I covered her with the rest. Meanwhile Neko had wiggled under there too. Later, Feather got up to have a drink and because she was also wearing her "cirlce of Love" coat, the blanket gripped it and so stuck on her, she came back to the bed and the blanket finally slid off her, but when I went to pick it up and cover her with it again, there was Neko, still underneath it. She'd been dragged across the floor about 4 mts, and dragged back again all the while staying happily snuggled under the blanket with Feather hauling her along like some poor homeless person in the great depression taking all her belongings with her.

The Challenge: Who's Got The Fastest Dog In Australia?

Poppy did but as she's not papered she was in the 'unregistered small' group. She came 14th out of 33, not bad seeing as probably one of the smallest! She weighs 5kg and was competing against Border Collie/ AmStaff sized dogs  Her time was 10.8 seconds :) awww, it's hard competing against such a range of dogs . Maybe they need to consider the unreg classes by weight. It's a hard competition to run I suppose. -

Woman Charged For Allegedly Selling Non-Existent French Bulldog Puppie
Kirislin replied to Panto's topic in In The News
Absolutely understandable DA! Similarly I won't sell a pup unless I've met the person or they come with a very good referral from someone I know and respect. some friends of mine have just taken a plane to Europe last night because the seller insists on meeting them before she'll sell them a puppy. Too bad if when they get there she doesn't like them. I dont think that will happen, they've already built up a relationship on the internet. -
