I dont think my dogs would be deterred by who put the food down. Certainly not Tag or Puck anyway.

I always eat the skin and so do my dogs. I didn't know of any possible health benefits from it, we all just like it. My boys also eat watermelon skin in the summer, they often like to leave it till it's completely brown and dessicated and then crunch it up like potato chips. It's the same family as pumpkins, I wonder if it has similar benefits.

I should say I never really had nice things before Stan but I really did like my second hand click clack lounge before he dug a honking big hole in the middle of it and he now won't lay on it because...well...it's got a honking big hole in it!

I've learned, or at least been reminded that it's good to stretch in the mornings when you get out of bed.

I'm an early riser and both Feather and Puck always come out with me and curl up where ever I am. Sometimes Tag will come out for a little while but when he's had enough he'll always walk around to my left side and then stare intently at me. If I say to him, "do you want to go to bed?" I see his expression change and as soon as I stand up he heads off but making sure I'm right behind him, so I know where he wants to go, which is always my bed. I have to tuck him in, make sure he's comfy and all covered up. The big baby.

I wish people wouldn't let their dogs roam, especially in a country area with wild life. Yesterday I saw a black and tan kelpie, bold as brass cruising in my paddock. I yelled at it to P!SS OFF and it took off across the paddock and disappeared behind some trees. Seconds later I see "my" 4 juvenile 'roos bolting for their lives in a panic straight out onto the road to get away from the dog. Years ago I'd get up to 15-18 roos here but they stopped after the neighbours dogs chased them. I hardly ever see them here now, people dont realise how frightened they are of dogs and it can make them move away completely. I'm thinking now it's unlikely I'll see 'roos here again for years and they'd only just been starting to come back. I dont even know who owns the dog, I went looking for it yesterday but couldn't find it.

HOME SAFE!!!! I dont know the details but that's all that matters. I am tired but felt guilty at the thought of climbing in to a warm bed with her out there lost. I'm so relieved.

I've just found out Lily, Tag and Puck's sister is lost somewhere in Warrandyte in this freezing cold weather. I dont know if she's got a coat on or not, the photo showed her wearing one but I dont know if she has it on now. The breeder didn't offer a replacement or refund from what I gather.

I'm sure he'd oblige, he loves cuddles.

Baby's all grown up now. I remember that feeling. You'll have to sit her down and have the Mother Daughter talk to her.

I wish I could form a syndicate and buy it and keep it as a round track, straight track and lure coursing complex for all breeds, not just greyhounds. Wouldn't that be fun.
