Only goes up to size 14. I dont think that would fit me. Just about incentive enough to lose weight!
-
very cute, I loved the dogs with cameras on their backs

It used to be common practice to give them arsenic in a tonic. He might not have been deliberately poisoned.
-
Not saying you have to be younger to wear it, I'm just saying I'm too much of a dag to have even know about the shop.
-
she said it's from a shop called Dangerfield. I'm assuming the young 'uns know about that shop.

How's this for the best dress to wear to a sighthound function? I dont wear dresses but even I'd want this one. She's lucky someone didn't try to tear it off her. IMG_1284_2 by kirislin, on Flickr

My baby girl went to the Whippet Fun Day where we had our usual straight line course and then for a bit of a change we also had coursing with a circular track. What fun! Look at my baby go!! Baby Gorilla (Mjukuu)... And A Few Other Animals...
Kirislin replied to tdierikx's topic in Photos, Photos, Photos
is he yawning or having a tanty in pic #3? -
I gave her another one yesterday as she started the same behaviour, panting, trembling, racing heart. It was during the day and once it took effect she started staggering around again, but she was wagging her tail and tottering around after me, and seemed unperturbed by her loss of control. I'd say she's a happy drunk, or in this case druggie. I have to go out today (whippet fun day) and I was going to leave her at home, but I'd hate to think of her having an attack and being left alone, so she's coming with me and so are the valium.

I love that velvety looking fur on the bunny.

my first thought too, rats or possums.

I love updates. I also still keep in touch with Pennys breeder and of course Nekos breeder..... I've practically had to sign that one in blood. Not that I mind, she's changed the direction of my life, but it's fun.

what a brilliant idea.

wow, seeing a crocodile face up close makes me wonder if turtles aren't descended from crocodiles. The plates are similar. And how funny is the kooky pelican dance.
-
that's what I thought too, but then I read that the young guy is not the owner, he's a professional stunt man.
-
Fabulous! Most of the clips I see of amazingly clever dogs look like cattle dogs or cattle dog crosses to me.
-
beautiful looking dogs. The out take is funny, it needs a caption.

thanks all. She was staggery but since it was close to bed time it didn't matter. I lifted her onto my bed that evening and she slept all night.

thanks Rappie. I dont want to sound like I'm canning my regular vets, they've been excellent, but I thought a fresh set of eyes might be good. She was fantastic yesterday, she took more bloods and rang me back that evening with the results. Mind you, she's now married with 2 young boys so she's got alot on her plate, I didn't expect a call at 7.45pm. Feathers bloods were all good except urea this time (which was slightly elevated last time too) so I've managed to get an early morning wee sample, only about 20mls though I think, I hope it's enough for her to test and check her kidneys. Over all she though Feather looked very good for almost 13. Sadly for a small dog whippets dont live very long and 13 is getting up there.

My vet recommended I give Valium to Feather when she was showing signs of anxiety. She only weighs 8 kilos and he said to give her a 5mg tablet. I thought it seemed a hell of a lot for a little dog as that's a human sized dose. I did, and she survived although was staggering around like a drunkard when she tried to walk. She seems fine now but I'd like to know if it's normal to prescribe that much for a little dog.

Just updating, so far Puck's been fantastic, back to his normal happy crazy naughty adorable self.
