If my partner broke up with me and took both the dogs Id be out for his blood. I think you really need to look at it from his POV also before deciding you can look after them better. If it were me I would want both the dogs too, but they are his too and he loves them just as much as I do. I don't envy you it's a crap situation and something I've thought about hypothetically on occasion if my relationship were to ever break down. I think getting things in writing is a good idea too. Good luck with your decision.

:laugh: why am I not surprised? :laugh: Ours wont go in either they just use it as a big water bowl but I still leave it as it stays cool and is too big for them to flip over and empty

I know a couple of Pugs with one eye and they're happy as Larry and still race around like loons :)

I remember when I was a kid I was at a friends house who lived two doors down, we were in her room and all of a sudden her dad came down and told us to stay where we were, close the door and put a towel under it. We thought it was all very exciting being 10 or so :laugh:, turned out there was a RBB in the house It had gotten under the oven and they got a guy out to catch it. We lived right near a large river at the time but he was pretty surprised that was what it was. They had a couple of GSD's who were going nuts at it which is why it hid under the oven, the poor thing. Oh and the friends Mother.....Hysterical - totally petrified of snakes, it was a sight that's for sure :laugh:

I leave one out with my guys but they are medium and huge, I would be more concerned about small dogs, as megan said, getting stuck in them etc.

Ditto to what everyone else has said. It's pretty common for pups to have worms, so don't worry too much. I agree with giving the vet a call, the nurse should be able to advise you for something like this. My OH tells me off for examining poos every now and then :laugh:

Our old brother and sister chihuahuas (RIP) used to do that. She would squat and he would run over and try and sniff her and get in to mark and get peed on *rollyeyes*

My dogs probably eat better than me. I do eat pretty well, but I don't totally resrict myself and eat crap too :laugh: The dogs get treats occasionally, pizza crusts and roast chicken/skin are the faves .

My OH always says "Stay, be good, kill." when he leaves :laugh:
