  1. Yes, thought of that, but didn't want it killed again for being in the wrong forum list. I've got cream, but I think it might be off. Damn. Does blue cheese go with scones? It's very creamy. Blue cheese IN the scones would be yummo! blue cheese is gross
  2. Doesn't a double negative make a positive? If we were posting illegal content in an illegal thread - and playing nicely to boot - shouldn't that be allowed on a Friday night? ETA up to 22 users now anything should be allowed on a friday night. we are a sad bunch arent we? nothing better to do on a friday night cept talk about crackers and chippies
  3. I am having a caffeine free diet coke. was going to make another coffee but then i wont get any sleep later
  4. no I dont think so. 10 I think then it went "poof"
  5. I should get mum back home to go through their stash of prizes. One of the best prizes that one of our baby Bulldogs won many years ago was a garden sprinkler system. Awesome for watering the garden and if any of the dogs loved water they could have heaps of fun and it sprayed around the place. Huge gazebo, directors chair to match, Money..thats always a bonus to cover expenses. Crockery, crystal wear, glassware, towels always come in handy. Old human towels get downgraded to dog towels. When I was restarting out on my own I got given so many things that I needed that were from the prize cupboard. Jug, toaster, crockery, glassware. Mum and dad even sponsored all the classes for a Bulldog show from their prize cupboard.
  6. we actually had a really good time. Downed a bottle of scotch, had lovely crackers and dip and pate and I enjoyed showing the furkids, even the grumpy one LOL Did you get my pm?
  7. I am there to assist and supervise when necessary. Especially during a tie. I care about my dogs too much to have them fight or try to make sudden exits while tied. Have assisted in many ai's which doesnt faze me. People have artifical insemination. I dont see anything wrong with ai's.
  8. Seriously? The dog is probably doing you a favour by washing some dust off the tyre . I did not realise that people considered car wheels an inappropriate place for a dog to wee. It's not like you touch them or can smell them or anything If there are no trees, where do others take their boys to wee? (obviously, I have been taking them to the car park ) I find it really offensive if people let their dogs pee on others car wheels. Even my own Bullmastiff boy doesnt pee on our car wheels and I make sure he doesnt pee on others. Attended the recent Qld amstaff show where we took the motorbike up. One exhibitor walked his dog over to our bike to let him cock his leg. OH saw it and as he was trying to video the show so I went over there and asked what he thought he was doing. Guy turned around in a smart arse way and said "but he didnt do anything, have a look" I could of smacked him there and then. yeah the dog didnt pee on the wheel but the guy thought he was so shit hot he had no problem in taking his dog over to do so. he was damn lucky that hubby didnt go over

  10. During the transition of bringing baby home from its breeder, teething and socialising your baby bulldog she will experience many lessons of life. You are now her teacher. I would hate to thnk that a 10 week old baby has become aggressive but more so that she is testing the boundaries as all dogs do. Bulldogs are a stubborn, loyal and loveable breed. Playtimes must always be separate from food times and quiet times. Firm yet gentle hands and voices are a must. Playtimes must end on a happy note but not turn into she who dominates She must have her toys and good hard chewy toys as she is teething. she must learn the difference between things she can chew and things she can not. People being one of them. With our Bulldogs I always adopt a discipline of as to how mother would do. Firm voice of "puppy no!" aahhh! and if need be a firm hand on the scruff of her neck until she stops the behaviour. Unless the breeder of your baby is one who has been in Bulldogs for many years and is really up to the play with bringing up bulldogs then there is not really any point in asking for their advice. If they have owned Bulldogs for a good length of time then yes, see what they have to say. Temperament issues can be hereditary but in a pup so young I dont think that is the case. When it is play time, while you need to stimulate and teach baby the ways of life make sure it is not a huge game. Puppy is too young for this. If she has not been disciplined properly as a young baby then this habit she has learnt will take time to go. Make sure that playtimes are not straight after meal times. Of course her teeth are sharp. All baby teeth are.

  21. Is she has not been well today and is obviously in discomfort then please dont vaccinate just yet. Wait until you find out what is wrong. Hopefully you will. You should only be vaccinating healthy dogs and clearly she is not at the moment.
  22. has she chewed through anything else?? May have a blockage. Sore gut. She may have an infection somewhere. White blood cell count will tell Is she straining to go to the toliet?
