How excited was I to get an email this morning saying that they are now hoping to offer the block sessions for us sydney siders in NSW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Awesome news!!! Means I can take one of my dogs - now which to choose - the slobbery dogue, the naughty malamute or the ridgeback with an insane fear of tall men........

  6. Can you not buy the Missing Link from OS and ship it over??
  7. Yes I know it is made here and I *think* they might have a Malaysian connection. It would be good if we could get it and everything I have read about it is positive. It also made the Whole Dog Journal list of "genuine" holisitic food (for want of better description) I really want the Kangaroo and apple one for the big H I've emailed them in the past with no success, they are not selling in Australia at present..... crazy though
  8. Never said I had a problem with it - just wanted to know as it is a courtesy to advise people There is actually an Australian made super premium (well Ihave read articles stating it is also made in Australia) but you cannot buy it in Australia... go figure hey. Here's a LINK KitKats sig sums it up pretty well - i think from memory it says "the best food for your dog is the one your dog does well on"

  12. The course that Haven is mentioning is also run up here on the Coast. The last time they did it was November last year. From memory there was a $495 2 day intro and then a further course which costs $1295. A friend of mine had them use her dog for practice and she loved it. I wanted to do it but had no money (always the way!!) If you wanted to do it then you are welcome to stop over here to save on accomodation - we live 5 minutes away from the school http://www.nctm.com.au/ edit - correct link and to say look at the Canine Myofunctional (NSW)
  13. The last pup I had here with Demodex I mixed his ivermectin into a spoon of yoghurt - he scoffed it down! Maybe you could try that?
  14. I have no idea how to write this to convey how upset I am Alecia was adopted a week ago by a fantastic home that had previous malamute experience and had adopted a male malamute from Elwyn and I. Despite being togethor only a week her mate Storm and her were like soul spirits reunited. They would lay on their bed with their heads meeting and share kisses at night. Initially they hated each other on sight but within days it just seemed like these two dogs were meant to be togethor. Annette who adopted Alecia is just a dream home for a malamute. She adores her dogs and there is nothing they could want for. 2 days ago we were laughing on the phone talking about how close they were after only a week togethor. Last night I got a call from Annette saying Alecia was unwell when she went down to them in the morning. She went straight to our vet and he immediately diagnosed that Alecia was suffering from tetanus. We were all so hopeful as he told us she would recover in 10 days with some TLC and medication Sadly for Alecia her past and poor condition (she weight 23 kilos on arriving at the pound but was gaining weight steadily) caught up with her and she was unable to fight this disease. I was gutted to get a phone call early this morning to say that Alecia had passed away. It was very sudden our vet had checked on her and she was OK and then went to make a coffee and by the time he came back she had passed I've shed so many tears for my baby girl today. Despite being obviously mistreated she had the temperament of an angel and there was nothing you could fault her on. It feels cruel that she went through so much to find an owner who adored her and was so quickly taken from them Gosh I hate trying to portray how much a dog has touched me but this darling girl did have a vey special place in our hearts RIP baby girl :D
  15. Can we get an update on the quarantine situation? I hate the thought of having to change food again but I do have hassles in getting bags some times. Maybe EP needs to have storage bins so we can buy more
  16. what about trying some online suppliers even though you will have postage to contend with? www.petdeli.com.au www.pawsonly.com.au Although I would check that they have it in stock and can supply you. I can get it here from our suppluer and send you some although postage would be the killer?
