but it's your Mum's house so you possibly didn't have much choice anyway. Same as you couldn't take your in season bitch in the car because it wasn't your car.

wash and brush the dog, then suck it up and confine him to your bedroom or somewhere. It won't kill the dog to be confined and your bro and sil can then see you are happy to meet them part way. My dogs are often confined behind a baby gate or put outside when I have visitors. Even doggy people cause otherwsie they hog the furniture and the people have nowhere to sit.

I quickly threw together some bunnings compost sides last night as I was worried about taking the soft crates. The dogs loved it, next outing I will bring shade cloth and pegs to make a lid, not that they tried to get out except for Fern once and she was only half hearted. ETA: we actually had to have solid sides up for an hour or two this morning at Kilmore!

Mine get fed much later, usually 8 or 9ish in this weather and they eat it all, even dry food.

well as someone who does everything, heartworm, flea, intestinal worm treatments seperate, I am horrified that anyone thinks it's ok to double up on chemicals. Just goes against the grain. I'd never go to that vet again. It may not be bad for them, have never looked into it, but I would never ever do it. With all the stress on the body nowadays why add to it?

another one who does fleas on as need basis. Which is not very often.

Glad it's sorted Kahnazhu. I think Sway and I have something planned for the newbies so come and join in the fun :D

My cheque was cleared on Friday so am now waiting for numbers to arrive. Best give the secretary a ring to check. What breed are you showing?

I've entered there as well. Must check if mine has been banked. Perfectly fine to call and ask.

Palmar Luxation Of The Antebrachiocarpal Joint
Rebanne replied to Tralee's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
What they hell thay are doing allowing with these superbugs to compromise the surgery is beyond me. Anyway, complaining won't help. The good should eventually outweigh the bad, at least I hope so. Puppy is home now, and not happy about it apparently. So, Ive planned a visit for the new year. yeah, bad vets allowing this to happen (need rolly eye man here) as if they did it on purpose (another rolly eye man). Super bugs are all over the place. -
that's only a week, maybe a tad long in the time to get to you, but if they had been posted earlier, in accordance with the rules, you still might have actually got them before the show. Posting on the Thursday before the show is way too late.

Why Am I Seeing This Un-doglike Behaviour
Rebanne replied to shirra's topic in General Dog Discussion
because she doesn't want the other dog to sniff her that's why. She is uncomfortable with the other dogs approach and this is her way of saying so. -

I didn't feed puppy food to my bitch either. Just increased amounts of her regular food towards the end. -
Stopped A Dog Attack This Morning...
Rebanne replied to Ruin Maniac's topic in General Dog Discussion
I was at a show recently in SA where a person was bitten and I know the SA rep was notified and and the police were also called and spoke to people. I was told that in SA if you call for an ambulance, the police are also called. If bitten in someones backyard I think the hospital you are treated at is required to make a report, but it would be hard to prove unless there were independant witnesses. -
Mature to me is adult height and weight. If you go on behaviour alone, then yes some dogs are puppy like forever. :D I say my 17 month old male greyhound won't be fully mature until 3, or more likely 4, but that is his prime physique, for the show ring. No way he is a puppy now, he is a mature dog.
