  1. Well fritz has enjoyed wrecking all the wrapping paper & boxes  Everything goes in the mouth at the moment. He's already using an adult Kong and his jaws are so strong. If he gets a grip on something fat chance of getting it out of his mouth ( Must work on teaching him to drop things) Luckily he doesn't really use us as chew toys, he did manage to bite my nipple the other night through pajamas Sweet Jebus that was painful  Sounds like Jingo had a great Christmas
  2. My little guy is the noisiest, squirmiest pup ever. Has the most awkward looking body at the moment. Puppies are funny. We got some bad news last Friday, apparently we have to move. Now I've got to.find a house with a young pup grrreat
  3. Oh and I agreed to sign a clause or seperate contract holding us liable for pet damage
  4. Pet references are great! My strategy is showing up to an inspection totally prepared. I have an application filled out, photocopies of our ID and a little 'portfolio'. I include a short page about my partner and I cover things like non smoker, hobbies gardening and sled dog racing. Got a little pet resume and references for them. I'm friends with the presidents of both SA racing clubs so I'll be using them this time around if they will allow. If I like the place I hand in the above on the spot and it get processed the next business day, while other folks are still dithering, filling out forms etc
  5. Socks and particularly undies were super popular with our first sibe. Those little indoor washing lines were her own piece of paradise. I've found the owner of one of Fritz's brothers on another forum I'm on. It's the other little boy that we couldn't decide between. So it'll be good to see how he grows compared to Fritz.
  6. Oooh thats even more exciting!! Being able to watch your pup from day 1! Enjoy the holiday season then Yonjuro, he'll be here before you know it. :)
  7. Sounds like you're having a blast.. Or willow is. :) Hope Santa still brings her something even if shes naughty.
  8. Yeah getting along OK, not great but more tolerant.\ Don't really want / need them to be all buddy buddy. I'd much rather be number 1 :) Few issues with growling around food. No more bits of my dinner for Esky. And she's pretty full on in play so I try and keep it from getting too wild
  9. How funky is your xmas tree! Love the vege garden too :) It's surviving
  10. Legally you can own them but not use them on an animal. Im sure plenty do though
  11. So skip puppy and go straight to adult? Ive got some advance large breed here as well as earthborn. The advance kibble is sooo big ! It doesnt fit in any food toys.
  12. Hey, I'd like some suggestions for a good kibble to switch my bullarab pup onto. He's currently getting morning meat and Cobber puppy at dinner. Most people with this breed feed cheap stuff cobber, coprice, optimum. Want to make sure I get the right balance though as this breed grows very quickly
  13. Zomg so scary. Retardo pup was in the front yard with me andmanaged to get his head stuck through the fence! So scared. No more front yard til his head grows
  14. Weird stuff happens when you shoot crazy puppies in low light
  15. Yes! I think he will be big. Males of this line average about 27 inches. 3 inches bigger than Esky ( who is huuge for a sibe) Pity they don't make beds bigger than king sized!
  16. Ill have another look tonight. Pup is a mad tugger so i may need more toys
  17. Thanks. Esky's hard to get a good shot of because she never moves. Fritz is hard because he never stops :p And he snots the camera within 10 secs of it being out
  18. Maybe you should get her a raised platform of some kind. So she can survey her kingdom. I've got my clamshell pool raised on a pallet. Very popular. Dory I love your cat stories. Corpsie is our oldest animal pack member and he's raised a few pups. Esky and him get along quite well, he often will run up and tackle her chest fluff, her leg fluff any fluff he can get a grip on.. They used to play a lot. He's still being mean to Fritz. I'm just trying to encourage Fritz to behave nicely around him. Praising him when he walks past, calling him to me if he's unsure when the cat is looking at him evilly and telling him off for barking at him.. Hopefully that's in the right vein
  19. I like the idea of making the wobbler harder. Might try that :) My cat is a total a-hole. He kept out of the way the past couple of days but now has started to harass puppy. Standing by the bavk door and snarling when we wantes to come in. And he fully went up and attacked ( hissed and scratched ) at pup, while pup was whining at the baby gate
