  2. Beautiful! I can't even imagine the excitement of being in a bait ball - - wow
  3. lol, brilliant and it featured a crestie :D
  4. We had a greyhound and introduced our small dogs just fine. We always took them for a walk together first and then back home to the garden for closer introductions. Like lanabanana said, our small ones ended up chasing the grey round the garden You know your large dog and his/her temperament - how is s/he with small dogs in general?
  5. She is beautiful, congratulations on giving her a great new start to life
  6. lol, just what I was gonna say of to google.........
  7. Wow, amazing shots from you all loving the outtakes as well, especially the last "testing Newton's Law" one
  8. My exact response to watching that was 'No Fricking Way' Amazing creatures
  9. Found a butterfly on its last legs judging by its lack of response to me but it looked beautiful in the last sun of the day....... I would also welcome any critique, as just getting used to my DSLR after not really using it properly for a year or so Just taken with the kit 18 - 55mm lens, and basic editing in Picasa.
  10. lol great pics, love the butt shot too My Daisy did the disappearing into a hole on the beach once as well - I don't know who was more shocked, her or me
  11. I've got a 350D with the same lens as you but also a kit 70-300mm, you can have a play with it on your camera if you want to try out another lens for comparison? eta - just watched the Cider video - impressive stuff
  12. Thanks J It is gated in so luckily they can't get to it unless we are there, and i don't think they'll be going in voluntarily for a good while Thank you Most in there would have been taken on my compact though. Yup dug my DSLR out and feel like I need to learn again from scratch I'd love some decent lenses as well as just have the kit lens atm. I was looking for photography classes in Perth earlier but got distracted, must look again.......What camera did you get?
  13. Hello Been absent for a while while moving and getting new internet etc Still loads of boxes to unpack but gradually getting there! The animals have settled very well, Indy surprised us by settling straight down - no howling at all She loves the new garden and spends all day sun bathing ;) We've introduced the dogs to the pool by one of us gently lowering them over the side while the other one guides them to the steps while they swim. At least we know they can both swim - Louis seemed better at it than Daisy, he may even come in by himself before the summer is out :p
  14. :D Have a great time with him Yup feels pretty good to be settling down - reality will hit once we're settled and I have to start looking for work though It's been rather nice not working for a few months :p
  15. I've always had problems with Drontal causing vomiting I use Milbemax now instead and haven't had any issues with vomiting
  16. I think my aunt said the 21st...will pm you before hand - Toller cuddles sound good to me :p I'd like to go to both, but with moving this weekend can't go to the Armadale one, and I have dog class for Louis on the 10th. Well our goods have mostly arrived in one piece from the UK Still loads to unbox :D Back in our short term let tonight, as no white goods yet in the new house - being delivered tomorrow so hopefully we'll move in then Daisy was so funny - we got the covers on the sofa and she was like 'this smells a bit of me, but not enough' and went mad rolling and rubbing herself into every corner of the sofa Louis loved the garden and did zoomies round the lawn - I think they'll be happy there Can't wait to see if they'll swim in the pool
  17. Just a thought as we have one of these trees that has started dropping berries everywhere over the last couple of weeks - they are pretty toxic I believe Got any of these nearby? http://www.delange.org/ChinaBerry/ChinaBerry.htm
  18. Great landlady! Ah the happy days of puppyhood Jenna looks gorgeous, love the last pic :D Anyone used MossWood Kennels before? My 86yr old great aunt has booked her JRT in for a couple of weeks and is very nervous of leaving him. I'm sure he'll be fine, he seems like a pretty good natured dog. She's asked me to take him down for her as she can't bear to leave him - bless her
  19. omg how absolutely awful for you all I really, really hope the Vit K works on your babies like the others mentioned here - have everything crossed for you
