That's the one I have Pesh :) I find it a great little lens, but as tlc said due to the focal length you sometimes need to get quite close to your subject, but that didn't bother me as I have the patience for it. That's a good price too if you can get it for that! I have it on a crop sensor Canon, here is a link to my shots from it if you want to see what it can do :) http://flic.kr/s/aHsjtetc2s

Pesh have a look here - http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ns=p_PRICE_2%7c0&ci=274&N=4288584247+4109120021+4108103566&srtclk=sort It's sorted by Macro and Nikon mount and with plenty of user reviews about the lenses. I've just upgraded from the Tamron 60mm f2.0 and I found it a cracking little lens. Macro takes patience as the depth of field can be so narrow and unless you're photographing snails, the subjects can be fast  but it's got me hooked :D

Loving all the photos so far everyone I'm really enjoying these challenges :) As Kristin is away we may need to make an executive decision for the next theme. If anyone has been contacted by Kristin to choose the next one can you let us know, but I say if we haven't heard by the end of today, then the first person on the latest list we have below should select a theme - does that sound ok to everyone? I think it would be Kerri to pick unless we hear otherwise?

You'd think my little Louis would be useless, but the speed and efficiency with which he caught a rat once gives me some hope he'd be able to get us some meat  I'd have to have a pile of clothes for skin protection for him though......

Making A Picture Smaller To Place On Dol?
CrazyCresties replied to pesh's topic in Photos, Photos, Photos
If you use something like Flickr or photobucket, you can upload whatever size you like to there, and then choose a link to post a smaller version on here. http://www.flickr.com/help/sharing/ -
Well I've learnt one thing so far - I really should have bought that 'how to use your speedlite' book earlier than yesterday  I've just take some some shots of 3 unwilling models - not gonna be the best, but they may have to do as not sure I'll get another chance before the 28th!

lol, yup not much going on here either, apart from Louis actually played with another dog at the weekend see photo section. Mirawee, your new foal and pup are both adorable! and hope you find a home for your girl soon ptolomey - gorgeous pups too :D pfft - only 3 mirawee ;) when I was a groom (about 25yrs ago now  ) we had 10 to prep every day for 2 weeks when it was Hickstead

I know this is a normal day to day experience for most dog owners, but when we went round to Tibbie_tabbie's over the weekend, Louis actually played with Chewbacca! Louis has fear aggression, so mixing with dogs at parks or the beach only happens when I know the people and dogs we're going with, and as Daisy doesn't play (another screwed up background) Louis just doesn't play much with other dogs. So when he did a play bow and started charging around with Chewbacca after he initiated play, I had a little tear in my eye from the joy of seeing him actually play with another dog Crap photos, but here is the proof! :D He was pooped when we got home
