Thanks DD, she is the most gorgeous dog - a real credit to RV :) I have a soft spot for Brittanys as we had a couple about 25 yrs ago at the stables where I worked back in the UK.

Thanks tlc, I think it's the intense WA skies reflecting on the water :laugh: but it's usually pretty clear. It was fun having a dog to visit who liked the pool - our two can't get out fast enough if we make them swim :laugh:

Awww congratulations, that's so lovely Looks like you're off to a good start with it, good shots of the dragonfly :) Have a look at opening a Flickr account or similar, that way you can post photos in your posts :) What lens did you get with it? -

They are with my 50mm f1.4. They were taken outside on our daybed under the veranda, so in the shade but sunny conditions. They may be a bit too bright, but they are for sending back to the UK, so wanted it to look pretty bright and sunny :laugh:
