-

-
I went to work the day after i got Atlas, and 2 days after i got kaos, they had no choice but the get used to it

I really do like Ginger cats RIP puss
-
I got mine off someone at Shoeys dog club when i was in Melb, they were very cheap and i love them! I am very careful with what leads i use as kaos is strong and can pull if another dog is near, but i have had no problems with these leads!!
-
I got an engraver from bunnings years ago, cost me $13, it has the attachment to file, i have had it for years and it is still going strong! best $13 i ever spent!
-
I was quoted $260 for a titer test, from my friend the vet. She said she has no idea how anyone can do it any cheaper than that in my area
-
I pay $39 for mine, (or $36 cant remember) helps a lot when the vet is a friend
-
Good luck with it My Bully has a thing that if woken suddenly he will bark and growl and snap. Has been doing it since he was a puppy. no one bugs him while he is asleep, even the cats know to stay away!
-
Vet has given them some cream, not sure what it is yet. I havent seen it since yesterday, so will sus it out when i head over this afternoon!

Toilet Trained Dog - Lots Of Accidents All Of A Sudden?
Teebs replied to Jen21's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Ahh, you need to meet Kaos. My annoying Staffy I am very proud to say my Bull Terrier has never gone to the loo inside, even as a puppy (well, he went once when he was sick, but he was VERY sick and i dont count that) My dear girl on the other hand? I could slap her at times!! I got her at 4 months, started crate training and toilet training, she would sleep through the night, did this for months, bark to go out if needed, during the day i would watch her and move her outside if she looked like she was going to go i then gave her run of the house, all fine, wake me up if she had to go.... Then, months later, out of no where, she started to poo inside. Each time she did it, i went back to toilet training, and making her sleep in a crate, she could go months without anything, then go inside one night out of no where. She last did it about 12 months ago (she is 4 now) Now i have talked about it, i bet she poos inside tonight All i did was go back to crating at night... so i cant give much advice!! -
Ok, i have only seen hotspots from photos on here, so dont really know what they are like in real life. Spook, our Aussie bulldog has a 'thing' behind her ear. I didnt actually realise there was anything wrong, i bathed her today and she has a black spot there, it wasnt until i had her in the bath cleaning it i saw it was more than just some crap she rolled in. No fur loss, it is about 3cms wide, and just oozing pussy stuff. It wasnt there 2 days ago (i was over playing and she was clean and nothing behind her ear) They are going to the vets tomorrow at 9, but i just wanted to see if that is how a hot spot starts? or is it something else?

I am so sorry RIP little one
-
where are you when he goes? My dogs were never allowed in the house without my eyes on them. If i couldnt watch 100% of the time, they were crated. I could always tell just before they were going to wee, and would race them outside before they went on the floor. when they were in the crate (well, shouldnt use the word WERE as they both still do it now and they are 4 and almost 6!) if they started to cry, or move around, i would take them out to the loo
-
is the dog crate trained? My dog i got when he was 8 weeks old was fully trained by the time he was 12 weeks, and never once weed inside (actually, the only time he has been to the loo was when he was really sick, he then spent 3 days on a drip at the vets )

I am so sorry what a horrible accident RIP Ruby

Any Anti- Bsl Fans At Sydney Million Paws Walk 09?
Teebs replied to Sabby's topic in General Dog Discussion
I know a lot of people who are thinking the same, where do we start? I do all i can, day to day at work with customers who are terrified of the bull terriers  It isnt much, but better than nothing -
Any Anti- Bsl Fans At Sydney Million Paws Walk 09?
Teebs replied to Sabby's topic in General Dog Discussion
yep, people have given up - i remember back when i first joined there was so much going on about BSL, now nothing. I remember a few rallys they had, i did a stand at a pet expo one year. There were many anti BSL people on this forum who no longer visit. the EDBA was pretty big when i first joined as well, now you never hear from them at all. too much bitching between ourselves, we will never overcome BSL if we dont stand together I dont know when the paws walk is on here, if its on my day off i will try to get there with my Anti BSL shirts for myself and my dog -
i would be interested in these photos, Atlas has always had furry paw pads... it doesnt seem to worry him at all, been like it for years... i have never seen it on another dog before. As for cracked nose, i also use paw paw, but you have already tried that... how does the dog drink? I know Atlas sticks his whole nose in the bowl and water drys my hands out? Maybe a fountain for a while to stop the dog sticking their nose under the water? (ok, i really dont know, just trying to think of ideas for you )

Home Alone "hanging Ball" Toy Or Bungie Chook ?
Teebs replied to mooki's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
i have the home alone, one of the few toys Atlas plays with, we also have 6 at work, a lot of dogs love them -
you will get there, the key is to try not to get stressed over it - the more stressed i got, the worse my dog was. She reads me very well!!
