  1. This is the beautiful Rachel who joined our little family a few weeks ago. She is a real sweetie and she and her whippet sister Leah are getting along famously. Its lovely to have a greyhound in the house again.!
  2. I bought a Cosy Cave a few years ago for my whippets, none of them liked it, I ended up taking out the hoop that held the top up and using it as a normal bed,
  3. Apparently Proheart tablets are being discontinued, Fort Dodge are only going to be producing their yearly injection.
  4. Well done ............. a great promotion for back yard breeding......and the information about buying the pups is on your website !!!! Anything for a story !!
  5. I've heard that they sweat and the bedding gets very damp, a friend had one and put extra holes in the bottom, but still had the problem, she diced it !!
  6. A very Happy New Year to all Dolers and their 4 legged friends ! May all your dreams come true !!
  7. Thanks yet again for your help Rappie, I was just a bit concerned about being told different time lines, but different circumstances, I guess.
  8. Last dose of Carprieve Friday morning, advised to start Previcox Sunday morning............had been told on a different occasion to wait longer than 2 days !!

  10. Wondering how long it takes to get out of a dogs system ?
  11. My late husband made a set of wide wooden steps covered with carpet for our elderly whippet, many years ago, they are very sturdy and the dogs felt very secure. Those DD ones are only a plastic frame underneath the covering, they'd be ok for little dogs, but I wouldn't trust them for a bigger elderly dog.
  12. I couldn't remember her name, but have admired her before in your posts, she is such a special girl, that photo should be used by GAP and other rescues. Give her a BIG cuddle from me.
  13. Beautiful photos of a special grey and cute kitties.........what is her real name ?
  14. I think no 2 is cute, but I do love the action in no 1........although she looks a little off balance......sorry, not much help.
  15. It sounds like geriatric vestibular to me, the nystigmus and wobbling were the symptoms that Jazz had when she had it. I was lucky with her, she got over it in about 24 hours, but it can go on for weeks. The amylase is usually pancreatic inflammation, but if it is just over, I wouldn't be too worried about that. I do hope she recovers quickly, it is so upsetting to see them so distressed.
  16. There is an app called Snap Send Solve, which is great for circumstances like this, I have used it when someone was illegally parked in a handicapped parking space and had left little children unattended. The council were there in a flash ! Of course the success depends on how quickly the rangers respond, but it is quick and easy to use.
  17. RIP Dash.......what a gorgeous little man....so sad !!!
  18. Just look who is licking their lips..............,maybe it wasn't the boys after all !! Just sayin''
  19. Foodland at Woodcroft always seems to have them.
  20. Bravo Tag and Puck, good boys for looking out for Arkey, he is such a cutie !!
  21. Don't subject your whippet to this, its too stressful and not fair to him !!
