  1. I say good luck to them if it is true. Just as long as the dog is not over worked and exploited the shine may come off then. You have to admit that it is a very cute dog.
  2. I voted boarding kennels our dogs would just be better in them especially the terrier. We have to face the dilema of leaving our two in July that I dread but the kennels are great and I know they will be safe just an over protective mum.
  3. We have two here that would sell their souls for Schmackos particularly the liver ones. Great photos.
  4. Currently I only have one dog of my own in this house and my housemates have one dog, two cats and two budgies. I would go to two possibly when I am settled and in my own home. But I am so enjoying being and 1 dog owner I can give my dog so much more in so many ways.
  5. Eureka vet clinic in Mount Clear was the vet I used when there only for the basics but they were a nice practice and they have two locations. It is just the next suburb up tell them just past the IGA store on the right hand side a little cream building they should find it easy enough.
  6. I am in Mandurah and face the same problem with my dog, I was quoted between $350 - $650 if he need extractions done I nearly had a fit over the price.
  7. Antiques Roadshow my boy throws his head back and howls all during the start nothing else really grabs him.
  8. There is always somebody home with the animals very rarely are they left. In my situation living with family they would take care of my dog.
  9. That is gorgeous. Those whippets of yours are pretty special.
  10. I still cannot get the damn thing to work...
  11. Wish I could get the link to work can someone pm the one that does work I would appreciate it. :D
  12. Just wanting to wish you all the best with Katy. I hope she makes a very quick recovery and back into training without any problems.
  13. Thanks for all your responses I appreciate them I am going to look at Canons I think but I needed more imput.
  14. I have a very generous relative that wishes to buy me my first DSLR and I was wondering what people would suggest here on the forum. It will be primarily used for dog photos some action shots etc. I also wish to do some good macro work with flowers and industrial stuff. So if you can make a good suggestion I would appreciate it budget is probably 1,000. Canons are one of my top choices but I need the inside stuff on them to make a final decision.
  15. +1 They can go where ever they like and are most welcomed on our beds. The only rules are no benches and or tables for their own safety.
  16. We have a pig in mud door and they are worth their weight in gold. We to are renting and our dogs have freedom to come and go as they want they are fantastic. Your going to love yours.
  17. We have a bunch of old sheets, towels, blankets. All ready for pick up in the Mandurah area. If your interested please let me know they are all yours.
  18. My dog just tilted his head and listened in his bed. However his eyes were as wide as saucers but that was about it.
  19. Our dogs have the freedom to come and go when they choose. Only one is secured in a crate whilst we are all out which in generally very rare as there are five people living here. However on the odd occasion that happens my dog is crated but only generally for a couple of hours at the most. That is if I cannot take my dog with me.
  20. These beautiful babies just brighten my day by looking at your photos. I have just loved this thread gorgeous gorgeous puppies and dogs. Your a very lucky person to have such wonderful companions.

  22. I have lost two beautiful dogs to cancer the first I had for ten and half glorious years she was with me a quarter of my lifetime I miss her every day and think of her always she was a part of me that can never be replaced it still feels like a knife going through my heart. I then lost her daughter ten months later so a double whammy for me my two precious girls gone forever I miss them both and I hope that when it is my turn they are there waiting. RIP Oden such beautiful boy. I do not think that the pain ever goes away when loosing a beloved dog we just learn to live with it.
