I have had major health concerns and not able to look after my heart and soul breed German Shepherd Dogs. I have a terrier now however, when I am older and more retired it will be a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel a rescue would be fine. A small desexed female that can be soft and loving and enjoys spending time on the couch and on my scooter that gets me around.

Bloody awesome little dogs that are loyal and devoted to their owners. Nothing beats a mini foxie as for showing there are couple of shows in NSW usually in Sydney but if you check the website I am sure they can give you more information. The shows are fun and enjoyable and where else are you going to meet other like minded people who love the breed.

Your kidding right I grew up in public housing and awaiting on a public housing unit to not be able to take my small dog would devastate me. Your a snob dogs running free happens anywhere, cruelty happens in all levels of living conditons and suburbs, owning a bull breed happens in all suburbs. Get the real facts before jumping to conclusions this could have happened anywhere.

We have it in both the front and backyards we only have two small dogs that are on the artificial turf. We love it and as my dog suffers from allergies from grasses his flare ups have now ceased. It does get hot under foot in summer but well worth it. No maintence of mowing ours has perforated holes that the pee and water just soak through.

I have two hot water bottles both under the doona and would not have it any other way. Nor would they!!

Two terriers and me on the bed equals a full house though we have just moved from the eastcoast to the warmer most beautiful west coast we still have the same problem the bed is full.

The weirdest one I have seen was a long time family friend she had a Corgi x Rhodesian Ridgeback. The shape of a corgi legs and all with the colour and ridge running straight up her back. Her name was misty and she lived well into her teen years and was loved to death.

I have read the book and loved it so I will be off to see the movie when it comes out.

I live on acreage out of Ballarat way currently we have four dogs registered here without a permit without any trouble but in town I am sure it is a 2 dog limit three with a permit. Edited to add. We are under the City Of Ballarat as a council.

Toys are all over the house... their leads, brushes, coats etc in a cane basket on top of their crate in the lounge room no need for big stuff when you have little dogs.

I use my crates for confinement during the day if I have to go out as I have a male terrier that likes to lift his leg on everything. I also use them for competitions etc.

I lost a puppy in similar circumstances in the late 90's one of my older dogs just snapped bit it hard and crushed it's skull it is a horrible thing to happen I am so sorry for your loss. Big {{{HUGS}}}

I have used GTE to transport my German Shepherd a year or so ago and she did a great job if a puppy the only way to do it is fly it down. My shepherd was eight months old and could cope with the road trip. I would not subject a baby puppy to such a long trip and with other strange dogs when the puppy is not fully vaccinated.
