  1. Mud is my friend........ How much fun is Mud! Mud Monster. What's a little mud between friends.... Bub your girl looks like she had a load of fun! ;) Eskythehusky your dog is my kind of dog, do it do it well!
  2. Hydrobaths make washing big dogs so very easy! Glad you like the new bath. ETA: I have a Melbourne Dog Centre Hydrobath, never had a problem with and I have had it for many years now.........one of the best investments I made for the dogs, no more messy bathrooms and sore back!
  3. Thanks Laneka, I think I know the Vet in Bendigo that you are refering to. Hmm a few things to think about, it is very good to hear from others who have done them recently and what they thought.
  4. OT I wondered what had happened to JB Marine. I have had a few brands over the years - old ones retired due to damage. I am now using a Oz Trail Deluxe 3 x 3. I find this easy enough to put up by myself and it does fit across the back seat of the Fairmont wagon as long as you put one end on the floor. Or it easily fits in the dog float. Spare parts are easy to source for the Oz Trail, that is a big factor when purchasing I think.
  5. I suspect the entries were down due to the location of the show.......... IMO it really isn't exhibitor friendly. After attending one of the first shows held there I had equipment stolen and difficulty getting shade I vowed never to return again. ETA: Congratulations to those that did well at todays show!
  6. OT - Interesting to see the price variations on rego for trailers. I know in NSW even a 6 x 4 box trailer needs rego, unlike in Victoria - no reg needed as long as it does not exceed the maximum length for no rego. Doesn't everything cost a heap more in NSW????
  7. Thanks Lilli, I wish you all the very best of luck for the upcoming AI, you sure deserve it! I wasn't aware of the difference of stats between local and imported, you learn something new every day, thank you! I will then reword the question, Who would you use for Imported Frozen Semen Implantation and Why?
  8. I am very sorry to hear that this happened. They could have at least offered to pay for your dry cleaning.
  9. Congratulations MissMoo :D Congratulations to the Group 2 people who have been mentioned, thank you TessnSean for the results. Does anybody have Group 6 results please?
  10. Hi Guys, Thank you for the responses so far. Like the topic says - Frozen Semen, so a surgical AI is required. Who would you use and why?? What difference does it make if it is local or import? I always thought frozen semen is just that regardless of where it came from. :D I am am aware of the different methods used to collect / store. Lilli, I think it was you that had used a lot of Frozen Semen (from memory) and you had bad luck with it (missed breeding etc), I may have confused you with somebody else, but I am sure it was yourself as you have a rare breed / s ? Please correct me if I am wrong.
  11. As the topic says- Who would you use for a frozen AI and the reason why. I am looking for success and or miss stories. I have asked many but thought I would spread the net wider so to speak to see which clinics / Vets are recommended and why, hence the reason for posting. I am aware of the previous threads on this subject and was hoping that maybe there might be more information / responses out there. Thank you in advance.
  12. teekay I am sure your dog will be OK. Just watch and wait. My guys eat grapes as well and none have taken ill from them. Oh no, what a mess............ So glad I wasn't trying to clean that mess up!!!!
  13. Lucky dog, fresh quail eggs! Raw eggs; shell and all are fine for you dog to eat. :D Like it has been said, those that feed BARF (myself included), feed whole eggs to their dogs. The dogs love them!
  14. Kirislin - Great pics of the crew, they look to have had a great time, thank you for sharing. poodlefan - great flying pic and the result, thank you for sharing
  15. What an awful thing to have to go through. I am very glad that it has been sorted out on paper but very sad that you did not get the Sire that you had wanted. I would have been guttered had this of happened to me and so bitterly dissapointed. Thank you for sharing your story and this is a heads up that this can happen, and sadly this does happen and seems to continue to happen. I am aware of a number of these types of incidences. :D I am all for compulsory DNA for pedigree certification, the sooner it is implemented the better! ETA: I too would not leave a bitch of mine to be mated, I would rather pay the expense for chilled or frozen semen, at the end of the day it can work out the same as freight costs for sending the bitch.
  16. Start number is 697 (Puppy Dog) and last 703 (Open Bitch)
