Update - Pups are now into their 7 week! Now that time has literally flown by. Today they all had the Vet Check, vaccination and microchip, not a peep to be heard from anyone and all passed their vet check with flying colours. Now comes the hard part, sorting out who will be who! Some recent pics of the tribe taken in the 6th week. Miss Brown

Hi , As asked, TCI - Trans Cervical Insemination for frozen semen, has anybody had this done and could you share with us the results / experiences. I am very curious to find out more and to get a better picture of this procedure here. I know this is a common way to do a frozen implant in Europe / Canada and have spoken with a few European breeders about it. I am looking for results and experiences here in Australia and or NZ. I look forward to hearing some more.

Proof of what??? What I am asking for is feedback on what people value. I get everybody is different but should a basic requirement be adhered to??? Edited to add this; It was a general question. After taking with some people (non Rott people) the other day it got me thinking about different responses from different people based on their knowledge and experience/s and if they are breeders and or pedigree dog owners or cross breed owners or pet owners /people. I just thought I would pose the question/s. I was just after some feedback from other people. I thought it a very interesting subject and one I was looking for some feed back on.

Just thinking out loud here......... What do people think of "breeders" who clearly show to NOT have the breeds best interest at heart as a basis of their actions???? Who do not wish to conform with State Breed Clubs basic Code of Ethics in regards to the care,maintenance and or breeding of their dogs?? Who do not wish to conform with the accepted practices for the breed by the majority of ANKC Breeders and who if they aren't a member of a State Breed club do not wish to adhere to those minimum guidelines set out for the health and welfare of the breed. Do you think that a breeder as described is ethical and truly has the welfare of the breed as a priority??? Just curious as to some others answers????? Edited to add: I understand that Ethics and the "value" can vary depending on who you talk to, but just looking for some feedback form a variety of people.

I am sorry I have to disgree with you here. (your comment in bold) I have seen and know of many "German" bred Rottweilers who are on the smaller slighter frame as well, it really has nothing to do with with the country the dog was bred / orginated from, it is all about his genetics as to what he finishs at. Edited to add; Some dogs take a lot longer to finish than others, again it is all about the genetics / lines of the dog.

I am advised that Animal Flight Centre has been around a long time, over 15 years. They also advertise in Vic Dog magazine and have for a long time.

Thanks everybody. I hadn't heard of them either and I agree the website does not give me any confidence. I looked up the AQIS site looking for a AQIS approved Vet and stumbled on them..........but still not sure at all??????? I would like somebody who has used them to let me know of the service etc. I have had an inquiry from a Nordic country so I am interested in getting quotes that is why I asked. I am about to use JetPets this Friday to send a Rott to her forever home. I have used JetPets for domestic travel with all good results over the years.

I echo dancibcs comments.....really why breed if they had no idea and now wnat to pay somebody to do all the work and care....???? I hope for the bitch's sake it all works out OK for her.
