I didn't know Blacktown had an agreement with Syd Uni - but that news has made me happy! The spey clinic down there is great - my friend has just done a stint there (on her final year rotations) and she really enjoyed it.

Just make sure you are tick checking your dogs regularly. I alternate frontline and advantix every fortnight just so I don't build up a resistance.

Rice like all grains, is just a filler. Bulk up her meals with vegies. Or feed a good quality dry food.

Thanks ellz! Looks like those are the way to go. I wouldn't trust myself to ever clip my own dogs apart from a trim - I'll leave that to the professional (shmoo) to make them look purdy!

Thanks PF - might look at the ones Jed's looked at. Its for my BC's bum fluff. Poor Darcy is absolutely nekkid, there would be nothing to trim, the vets did him when he got the tick.

Hi guys Just wondering if these clippers are any good? Shmoo normally clips my dogs for me in summer, I just need a set at home to clip Toppy's bum fluff throughout the year. Top has no tail and so no leverage when pooing - so we have to keep his bum fluff at bay. Just wondering if these clippers would be ok for trimming every so often? Don't really want to spend hundreds otherwise I would just get a top of the range one.

Well orijen is the only thing Darcy will eat - and I'd tried a whole host of dry foods. Its got him back up to 11kg so I'm stoked. Toppy would do well on anything - but I just keep him on what Darcy is on for ease and in case Darcy grabs a bite - hes not allowed a whole host of things.

Does it contain any preservatives? Additives? Colours? Flavours? It personally hasn't inspired me to try it - my boys are doing well on raw & orijen so I think I will stick with that.

More useless than Diesel? I couldn't get him to do a send away further than 12 paces last night ;) - Kaos can do over 50! Yes more useless than that. Toppy is a bit retarded you see, he just gets too excited. Last time we ran a mock trial when I said tunnel he jumped on TOP of it :shakehead:

I might try and come at some stage, but when Darcy is better. Toppy is too useless
