  6. We upped our distance to 8.7km yesterday. Dogs loved it, me not so much.. had my first stack off the bike!! Back at it again this afternoon though!
  7. I bought a little speedo for my bike from kmart for about $20 which tells us distance and speed. We are hoping to take two of our Aussies in either the Grafton or Sydney ET this year, as long as our girl doesnt come into season!

  12. Im the same as you, I dont feel the need for human kids, so my dogs are my 'kids'
  13. I've lost roast before too, ours was the leftover we left on the bench to cool before we packed it away though! Once we are dished up we hide ours in the microwave these days! Latest counter surfing incident was the other day, stupidly left a block of chocolate on the dining table and miss Piranha (aka gossip) decided to eat the leftover 3/4 of the block to herself!! Luckily it didn't make her sick at all, I have no idea how she wasnt with how much she ate!!
  14. SHOW HAS NOW BEEN POSTPONED. Latest update from Ian Rudder Re: [NorthernDogsNSW] Re: Dorrigo - change of venue Hi all After a meeting of the Dorrigo and District Kennel club committee today and discussions with Dogsnsw we have decided due to current weather conditions and forecast conditions over the next 4 days to postpone Dorrigo and District Kennel Club all breeds show to a date to be determined after further discussion...s with Dogsnsw and the Dorrigo Committee. The decision has been made due to the flooding being experienced alone the eastern seaboard between port Macquarie and the gold coast, this flooding has created an unsafe traveling environment for exhibitors as well as isolating a large number of them. We believe that the weather conditions are servere enough to also create and unsafe environment in which to hold the show. We apologize for any inconvenience this may create and will notify all of the rescheduled date when it becomes available Regards Ian Rudder Show secretary Dorrigo and District Kennel Club

  19. My chicken pen is known as 'the fortress of solibrood' thanks to the dogs Gayle. Our next step was to put ping string across if it didn't stop them! Fingers crossed you can come up with a solution soon!
  20. I use a mixture of white vinegar and rock salt in a spray bottle on our paved area that has killed them. I think Hugapug may have told me about it? I dont like to use any chemicals because we have free ranging chickens and Im worried about making them sick. Im going to put it in a 5L pump sprayer this year and see how much it can really do
