  1. She's a fully obedience trained 6 yr old Just PM me if I can be of help.
  2. The best thing Esme does is rest her head on my shoulder while I sleep ;) The best thing Gertie does is her crazy zoomies every afternoon at 5pm. The best thing Stanley does is sleep :D
  3. I'm not QLD but would gladly take one of your dogs as part of my family until you are ready for him/her to return. (Would need to be cat/kid/dog safe though).
  4. Cavalier!! Love 'em, great little dogs
  5. Ready Set Go (aka Warley) took this of my dog Stanley. Don't let the cute head tilt fool you, he is an A Grade A Hole! He's turning 1 in a few weeks
  6. My house has not ever smelt like animals ( 3dogs, 3 cats). Floorboards and regular bathing of dogs and bedding.
  7. Put him in a crate next to your bed then gradually move him out to where you want him to sleep in adulthood. He is a baby and missing his mum and litter mates. All of my pups have slept with me and none of them have issues sleeping away form me now.
  8. I agree. Healthwise, I don't expect the perfect dog, all I want from a breeder is support and advice if something goes wrong.
  9. Definitely get a second opinion and ask around for a vet familiar with Bulldogs. My Bulldog vet told me that most Bulldogs have some degree of hip dysplasia, she didn't seem concerned by it at all. I wonder if your vet would allow the xrays to be sent to another vet for an opinion? If so, try Rosalie Mathews at Gladesville Vets in Sydney 02 9817 5758, or just call her for a chat. She's familiar with the breed and was a massive help to me. They do have a lot of quirks so you really need to seek advice from someone experienced. Also try your breeders vet or find breeders in your area and find out which vet they use. I wouldn't be too alarmed just yet. Good luck! :D
  10. Where are you? I was going to suggest if you are close you could come and see what mine is like with your dog.
  11. Personally I'd stick 'em outside and let them have fun in the fresh air. Let your neighbours know that you are trialling them outside and that you would like to know if they bark or not. You could always try no bark collars too. I'm not implying you're a bad owner, quite the contrary, but I do think locking dogs indoors for long periods is less than ideal.
  12. I has my eye on the exact same brand, only the one above it for $237.00. Out of interest are you happy with your's, any prob's with it. Is it in your opinion powerful enough for double coated dogs? VEry happy with mine! My main dryer is an Oldfield, while the Oldfield is more powerful the one above is still fine for BC's. I would get the double speed though!! My Oldfield died about 8 months ago ( had it for over 12yrs) and I keep meaning to have it fixed so the spare one has served me well in the interim, considering it is used a lot on all breeds of dogs too.

  14. None of my dogs are show dogs but I am anal about their appearance. Just because you don't run around a ring on weekends it doesn't mean you don't want your dog looking their best. My three get plucked and pruned every week... much to their disgust I am sure. ;) BC Crazy have you tried looking for a conditioning UV spray? If there isn't one then you should make one and take over the world
  15. Saw my first brown snake here the other day *shudder* - only metres from the house!
  16. If only the dog had bitten the mans penis!
  17. Mmmm, the supplier Ive found charges $90. That's a big difference over time.
  18. What's he like with other animals? If you get stuck he can come here for s sleep over
  19. In summer I find Advantix only good for two weeks (for fleas and ticks). North Shore/Northern BEaches has been really bad for fleas over the past few years.
  20. My eldest Stafford Esme, has no bad habits that I can think of. She is the worlds best dog
  21. I don't have sound atm and only watched until he had a bath, but I don't get the big deal? Stray dog was caught and not aggressive, how is that news worthy? He's obviously been someones pet in the past and is still being fed substantially somehow by the looks of him. Sweet dog though.
  22. I will take Dammit it off your hands to make travelling easier
