This is the second litter Hilary has brought over to socialise them with other dogs and my girls are just so good with them. Beaglelover:) Posted December 28, 2009 Share Posted December 28, 2009 I'll put my order in for the tri girl please....don't worry about wrapping her, just a little bow would be a nice touch though (they are all beautiful, but am a sucker for tri!!!) Get in line! I have the absolute pleasure of seeing, cuddling and kissing these puppies every weekend. It's the highlight of my week. Every week revolves around Sunday and me going to see them. Thank you Hilary and Sara for allowing me to present and watch the puppies grow and cry when they leave home. Ohhh my...I am in LOVVVEE!! Ps. Can I ask what you mean by “lemon” colour? I have never heard of the term before. Thanks Bub! Lemon & white is not as common as tan & white in beagles. The sire and dam must both carry the lemon gene OR they must be a lemon or white themselves to produce lemon offspring. The lemons at birth are totally white whereas tan & whites will already show colour that will darken. I also have found they look different in that they are like little white piglets when born and have pink skin. The thing I love about them is that they normally have darker pigment than the tan and whites with dark eyes and black noses whereas tan and whites can have varying shades of brown although it takes some time to come in. Having said that, our tan & whites from this litter have exceptionally dark pigment.
