Awesome wuffles - what a lovely score to boot We had a nice return to trialling today....Ziggy has been a little neglected with Em's retrieving trialling lately! We had our first foray into Masters Agility and came away with 2 nice quallies. It was a rather warm day and Zig has been rather distracted by Em being in season so I was really pleased with him - both 1st place 600 height and 4th/13th place overall. His best run was the last one - but silly handler stuffed him up on the LAST jump! The groans of despair outside the ring were audible :laugh: Great dog and all that! Great work TSD! Agility the next two weekends, then obedience/rally, then the Obedience State Titles in May. After that, providing we manage to get our title at some point, we might give obedience a break for a little while. Ava is only 2 years old and I don't want to burn her out. On the other hand maybe she will enjoy UD. Decisions decisions. Haha Well good luck, fingers crossed you get a nice finishing pass :D Well done TSD! Go Ziggy! Haha have to laugh about him being distracted, I have a bitch in season here at the moment and what brains my entire boy possessed have gone walk abouts so I am glad I didn't end up entering him like I planned! Anyone want a carpet eating black schnauzer-he has unravelled the seam of the carpet and then found a loose thread to pull-i have a hession strip 1" wide and the width of the hall? From the training point of view he is doing very well. His recalls are wonderful-both informal & formal. His stays are solid. SFE are good but he does tend to be very crooked when he stands. His heeling is good. He will be 11 months old next week and very close to trialling. He loves RallyO!. I may well have entered Easter RallyO but my DD's wedding is only 3 weeks away and life is a bit busy. He is an awesome dog - wonderful company and an amazing friend. I am far calmer and more confident working out how to train him and it shows. I don't mind if I have to try something else. He is visiting in nursing homes and gets spoilt there. He is very cheeky and yes I am besotted. Just a great pity about the carpet. :laugh: I should add that it is the only thing he has destroyed-he just waited until this week to be a naughty destructive puppy! I've been training obedience with Pippa when my original intention was to do agility with her She is coming along nicely herself and I am looking forward to trialling her at some stage! Honestly he has never destroyed anything before-except tissues so it is weird. He was awesome tonight. He even heeled walking backwards when I was working on correct positions. His stand is straighter in heeling but not see so I am going to video it to see what I am doing. She likes to destroy mum and dad's reticulation and dig a few holes :laugh: But that's about the extent of her destructo behaviour.
