I have used it with no probs . BUT I only ever apply into the ant holes, and in a circle around them . I certainly don't sprinkle it everywhere . remove all dog food/bird seed etc from the yard . Water deep and regularly . Follow/track ants and apply sand to nest hole areas .I also use a surface spray on the holes ..that works well , too. Obviously do these things when pup is out for a walk or out of sight inside

Just be aware it may not be ants ... there are many things which can make for an uncomfortable and itchy pup ... Staffords are often itchy for different reasons. you may be interested in the following :

Ahhh.. the benefit of hindsight As an employee, I remember those first pups , I named one after my Mum!! I also remember doing a bit of work with a Standard Poodle .. he was a bit too clever for many people ;)

There is still one blue bed pad here which has been in use ,on & off for about 8 years!!

Mind you , those pet ones survived a piglet's first months!!

I actually prefer the human blue bed pads ... have used them for adult dogs - they hold around 2 litres, and tend to not scrunch as quickly ...I think the Conni large holds a bit over 1 litre?
