  4. I met this gorgeous little guy ( and his lovely owner/manager) briefly last night :). What a trouper he is. So sturdy in body& mind,with a coat so soft Thanks so much Mingaling for the visit. I did enjoy it. Awful pics,sorry.

  6. Ahhh.. the benefit of hindsight As an employee, I remember those first pups , I named one after my Mum!! I also remember doing a bit of work with a Standard Poodle .. he was a bit too clever for many people ;)

  8. Glad to hear Zena's still enjoying her life obviously vets cannot predict things to the exact date - just work on what they know about disease progresses . maybe , if you can , get a different opinion , if that would ease your mind?

  13. There is still one blue bed pad here which has been in use ,on & off for about 8 years!!
  14. Mind you , those pet ones survived a piglet's first months!!
  15. I actually prefer the human blue bed pads ... have used them for adult dogs - they hold around 2 litres, and tend to not scrunch as quickly ...I think the Conni large holds a bit over 1 litre?

  17. Cancer in dogs - Hmmm .. We have owned both male entire and castrated , and in 50 years that I can remember , there has only been one - and his testicular cancer appeared when he was around 12 yrs old.
