I was always very safe with both my late boys . One was a cocker spaniel x, and one a staghound. No way could certain people get near me . No real training involved, and they were bombproof with kids/old folks /pets . if your friend is comfortable with GSDs - then I agree - start talking with breeders. Remember tho - if she gets a puppy , it will be at LEAST 12-18 mths before she'll have a mature dog ... I hope she recovers from the experience

Vet is the best option , I think. It could be a number of things , and best to be sure with a puppy

the only gut blockages I've seen are when dogs have eaten cooked bones , and that's only a few times in decades . I have had one dog in about 40 yrs of dog ownership have diffficulty with bones in the neck - A pup swallowed a whole chicken neck without chewing , and I had to help pull it out LOL I switched to large chicken wings/frames after that - Nice chewy bones are terrific for dogs - pups in particular . Chewing bones for some time, as opposed to crunching dry dog food - is good for the face/jaw muscle development Bones like chicken frames are a meal - with calcium and other good things .

yes! However .. with clearly visible efffcts , eg:when a sheep will only relax & eat after a dose of Rescue remedy ( repeated several times a day ) When an old cat with diabetic neuropathy starts walking better and regains some muscle tone When a horse's wound clears up and heals When a goat with bad mastitis clears up rapidly after using colloidal silver .. That sort of thing gives me confidence

@Danois and the fact animals DON'T get the 'placebo effect' is why I use homeopathy/natural treatment . I have, over the years used both , seen amazing results , and so will use them again. For things like Zelda's runny nose, I would not buy online though ..visiting a reputable vet who uses 'alternative' methods is essential

I would go back to the vet - breeder unknown, runt puppy ... she most likely has worms , BUT there could be another problem in her gut as well, which is maybe why she is smaller .... Tdierkx has heaps of experience ..and gives sound advice. if this was a puppy from a reputable breeder , I'd probably not have the concerns I do. I'd get a poo sample , fresh, to take to vets as well. Lethargy is not a really good sign. best of luck with her

I apply it in 3 different spots ! between shoulder blades, base of tail , and at the base of the breastbone. then it's a long walk/run , and a chewy or bone .
