for scruffy terrier mixes, your best bet is to start scouring rescue online sites . Petrescue AWL RSPCA are just a start. good luck in your search - it may take a while .

Looks like a bacterial folliculitis ...but I am probably wrong ;) Betadine or salt water ..and vet seems a plan . poor boy .

I know this problem ;) Grass allergy, anyway. is it just red & itchy, is there peeling skin, or little pustules? I've never heard of using salt on rashes ... does it work? What type of puppy, how old, what colour ..? have you used anything new/different to wash bedding /concrete /carpet? is there tanbark or similar ? :)

;) seems you didn't get to all your homework before pups arrived LOL - then you get 11 to deal with!! baby pups cannot be overfed, really .. little and very often is the rule .. so, imagine how big a puppy's actual stomach is ..and work on 12 times that amount ;) obviously, the BEST food is one without heaps of cereal & junk , so that what they get does not end up being hosed away later on ....it gets utilised by the body.. A Huge round belly full of cereal and wind does no one any good . Also, give them some big meaty bones ..like beef soup bones, or chicken frames to suck/chew/eat .This is very good for their jaw development, and general well being :) A Puppy Kibble will have all the correct minerals etc for growing good healthy bodies .Now is THE most important nutrition they will get - do not stint on it! Offer the food several times a day, and definitely supervise !! just dampen food- they do not need mush - it's messy and wasteful and hard for mouths to scoop up .little damp pieces can be grabbed/picked up :) In a week or so , change to DRY Puppy Kibble :) make sure they have shallow bowls of fresh water available My constant rule is - when pups get more, Mums get less, my plan is to always have bitches milk pretty much dried up when pups are eating most of their meals

Your puppy is still a puppy ! he needs to explore and enjoy new surroundings ..and until he does every trick/obeys every command perfectly at home/at obedience school ..you cannot, in all fairness expect him to do it at someone's place , where there are things his instinct tells him to do :) Visiting is not for obedience perfection - if you expect this - you are setting puppy up to fail Why not, when you go visiting .. teach him stuff like "go play" /"have Fun"/Free Time :) ..USE WORDS for things he does - he WILL learn them ;) Chasing leaves is good for him, and fun :) I try to watch, and then use words to suit actions , like: Go run ..good puppy Drink, Drink ...good puppy Go sniff!...good puppy Say hello!.... Good puppy :) Inside, or Outside ...good puppy When puppy does lie down , or come to you BY HIMSELF - HEAPS of praise/treats for that too .... You may enjoy reading these articles :) l - LINK LINK

Sars- consider your anxiety levels if/when you put your dogs in another room .... The extra worry may not help you ...esp if you can't hear them .. if you can , get allergy tested , and update your asthma meds first ? I know folks whose asthma worsens with their anxiety ...we have a lot of asthma in our family tree Do your dogs lick you ? It is most often the proteins in saliva which people are sensitive to ..not the hair itself ... How do you wash/handle their bowls etc ? It's a beast of a thing, asthma , - make sure your GP is very thorough , and doesn't just fob you off with a new puffer or something ...
