  3. A few rabbit furry feet , (all the cats left !) , toast crusts, an apple, 1/2 a tomato , some grated cheese ..and will have kibble for dinner at bed time.

The year before last, we had around 30 guineas..all free range . we kept losing one or two ..and thought it was the wedgetails ..and we didn't really mind, as it is such a wonderful thing to have them close. Anyhow..due to my lack of management ..I discovered it was a couple of pups .... pups confined immediately - however they wil still chase if given a chance.

  11. No. any of our dogs who kill/eat poultry are only allowed free at night ..or in areas well away from temptation.
  12. x2 Unbelievable. All the behaviours you described are normal puppy behaviours - sounds like the "trainer" was a very poor example of the breed :laugh: x3

Someone here will give you a recommendation to a person who can help you .... just be careful who you choose ..take advice from DOLers who have 'been there, Done That" Now this baby has had a bout of severe illness , at an important time in his puppyhood... and who is to say the illness has not affected him ? My suggestion is a thorough vet check WITH BLOOD TESTS at a vet who knows what they are looking at...just so you have all the info . THEN .. find a good reliable KNOWN trainer/behaviourist to help you understand what is happening in GG's life ....

  18. because they have different social interactions, they are not dependent on packs/humans, and their behaviour under stress is different to a dog . they are not dogs .. do not behave as such ..and so can not be judged as dogs.
