  4. Thanks trifecta. I woke up in the middle of the night last week and it just hit me that I won't see her again, we did have 15 years of fun though
  5. Thanks everyone. I hope you are enjoying Melbourne Denali, great photo. grim petite, are you going to see Black Beauty? I have some friends going, it looks good
  6. Have you considered something like a German Spitz, a bit bigger than your dog but not excessive and still very cute, and pretty gentle from my experience.
  7. Thanks Ranga, I didn't think I would have her the entire year but didn't think she would be gone so early in the year so it has been really sad, but she sure had a very happy 15 years.
  8. grumpette, I thought it was a red tree until I saw what you wrote, catching some great light effects there
  9. Those are gorgeous birds shots you guys are getting, kookaburras are my favourites This is my week 2 photo of Tilly. I know I was going to do Bella because she was getting old but she passed away on Wednesday night
  10. iPhone is good, join in the fun, the more the merrier
  11. They did, was that your dog? Anyway week 1 for me is Chazer because Bella had no interest lol
  12. Mine love water - in a river, lake or ocean, just not in a clam shell pool hehehe
  13. Maybe I should join in. My old girl is 15 and can't do much so it would be a challenge and great to start taking photos of her again
  14. Have you ever tried lamb or beef hearts? I only discovered them about a year ago after my old boy had some teeth removed, recommended by the vet. They love them and although they are not bones they are fibrous and good for their teeth. My butchers charge $1each so they are cheap to try
  15. That is fantastic. I have a clam shell pool and my dogs think it is a huge water bowl. The only time they have been in it is when I lure them in with food lol. They need lessons from your dogs
  16. thanks Gruflife, I always wondered whether to use stone or sandpaper
  17. Thanks, looks like it will make finding dog friendly accommodation easier
  18. I am just reading this now after buying an Andis nail grinder today lol. The grinder was nearly $100 but at least I had a discount voucher to bring it back to $84
  19. Hi. If you want something nice out of a French dog by by Goldie Coates try Rockfire Brittany's or Riverreed Brittany's listed on the dogzonline.com.au website
  20. Em needs to jump in the river/water for a bath, then after a big of a dry off I am sure she would be very glamorous
  21. I have had a miniature poodle before and love them so also took a keen interest in poodles around the agility and obedience rings. I think they are the most amazing dogs, friendly and devoted to their owners, smart as can be, obedient, and sporty, maybe there are some neurotic ones but poodles that have been well raised that I have experienced are just plain amazing.
