  1. that is fantastic for her age that she is moving so well
  2. I am looking at her veteran photos now, they are taking a while to upload, be there soon
  3. Congratulations, they did you proud
  4. I have done some people portrait workshops with Creative Photo Workshops, they are brilliant and loads of knowledge to share, and certainly cheaper, and they travel http://www.creativephotoworkshops.com.au/
  5. fantastic photos everyone, love the racing photos. I put my hand up for a personal challenge in the flickr group and got 'close up' as a challenge. I have already done 2 close ups of Tilly this year so had to think of something different
  6. OK I have to ask what is a supreme champion?
  7. Gorgeous photos, looks like a lovely place, must have been a great holiday
  8. thanks, I haven't heard of Cosequin
  9. that is right, if you are in photoshop and view actual pixels that is at 100% too. I have been considering this lens because I wouldn't use it so much to make it worth spending the extra money on a Canon
  10. Snook, Gorgeous photo, there was another one from here I saw on FB that I really loved, you should add it on here, it is great :) Jack and Dash's Mum, cute photo, they don't mind cuddling up close Ktig, Paddy looks cute as ever, love the one on your walk Anniek hope Cowboy is improving TLC, that is fantastic, love the ears flying in the wind This is my photo for week 19, Tilly got a hair cut again yesterday by her breeder and I took this one when she was finished
  11. Great photos, that first one is priceless, love it. They don't look too dark to me either. How do you find the lens? is it nice and sharp at 100%?
  12. He looks adorable, can you tell us more about these dogs, I have never heard of them before
  13. some people are still doing selective colouring and I just wasnt to close my eyes :)
  14. Well considering that you want the lens for the wide apeture then the 30mm is great. Here are a few recent photos I have taken with the 30mm. The first photo I have th aperture at 1.8, and usually over 2, as I am not a huge fan of the out of focus nose, but will stop down occasionally
  15. You have had some lovely photos in here
  16. Greg, you already have 30mm on the 17_70 so maybe a slightly longer prime would be useful? 85 or 100 mm
  17. I have a30mm sigma too, a good lens and sharp, the 50mm sigma is apparently better than the Canon version. I did some reading of some of the Sigma zooms on B&H Photo and Video, and they did not compare as well to the Canon lenses, but have not looked at the lens you mentioned. It is a great site to read the customer reviews on
  18. that is fantastic Love Tlaloc retrieving the horse. A friend recently took her assistance dog on a trip to Europe with her, she had never been anywhere before that and they had a fantastic time.
  19. Glad to see you guys are still going strong with the challenge. I got to the stage I was just too busy to care if I was taking a decent photo or not so stopped the challenge myself
  20. Thanks. I was glad the greyhound photo I loved got an award of excellence too EtA It is probably better odds than winning lotto :)
  21. Well I entered 2 photos in the 3rd competition, got 2 marks of excellence, but missed out on the money again, oh well  Did get some nice comments from the judge though, they are the Brittany photos of course, a funny one of Tilly from her 52 weeks photos and a photo of Jaffa from my last litter. http://i-shot-it.com/competition.php?id=4f6651665d6c0
  22. They are gorgeous, I have a feeling I shouldn't have read this thread LOL
