  1. Thank you for all the info Very interesting. Ams, the owner said they were imported. There were 2 girls and one boy. Melstar-36 thats why I asked DOL. There are plenty of references if you google them.
  2. Thank you elz. (There were 3 brush coat adults, the same height of ~ 35 cm. The owner said they were miniatures)
  3. Another thing...buy in bulk if you can. We get atenolol for my boy and pay ~ $17 for 30 tables. The other day I got a script for 120 and paid $25 for the lot.
  4. You can donate to the vet. They are lovely. See post 17 in http://www.dolforums.com.au/topic/236303-please-help-us-help-jessie-the-greyhound/
  5. We went to SASH today and saw 3 miniature Shar Peis. They were lovely. Is this a recognized breed? I had a look on Dogz Home Page and DOL and cannot find the info. We also saw 2 Shiba Inus. OMG what a stunning dog!
  6. So sorry to hear Amerycus. Run pain free beautiful girl. May the plains across the bridge be full of friends and exciting things to do.
  7. Thank you for the update She is well and truly at home. Lucky girl.

    Vale Dante

So sorry for your loss. RIP Dante. Have fun across the rainbow bridge.
  9. Good journey Amerykus and Montana. Spoil her rotten as I know you will. Lyn is great and it is so difficult to predict the outcome with Chinese herbs. (My boy was given a couple of months/weeks. Yet here we are and he is going great. His cardiologist is very suprised )
  10. Wonderful. Happy family pic and Pearl looks quite content  Duke is quite a spunk!
  11. After watching this documentary I boldly declare that my 3 are my children. So there  (Edited to clarify that we respect their needs. They do all the things good dogs are expected to do)
  12. Another recommendation for Lyn. Here are Lyn's contact details Alternative Therapies Shop 5/ 242-246 Edmondson Ave AUSTRAL NSW 2179 Ph: 02 96068922 Mb: 0408308950
  13. Great update. It sounds like the miracle will happen for Pearl. (Pics or it didn't happen  )
  14. DONE! OK will try again via Google. I really want to do this!
  15. I've tried but the link doesn't work. Could you please check and if incorrect re-post? (I am not on Facebook) Thank you. Edited: I do not have a "restricted" breed but I am sooooo angry about the legislation. Shame, shame, shame!
  16. What a story! Good luck little Pearl. May you be loved forever. Huge thanks to her rescuers.
  17. Amerycus, wishes of strength to you and your girl. Enjoy every moment you have with her. (I hear you. I have my heart dog on borrowed time too)
  18. IMO. Not aggressive at all. Gorgeous dog and great communication skills
  19. Fair enough but you can still be happy that they went down. It's a good sign and great work by Mr Bison.
  20. Poppy's mum, we do a similar thing. We call it papa's special  So.. 1. Get lots and lots of drumsticks/meat and cook with broth/soup vegs until meat falls off the bone. I also add a tablespoon of Mussel stock powder for taste. 2. De-bone drumsticks/meat and return meat into the broth. 3. Shred all sorts of vegs (lots), include red veg ie carrot, pumpkin. 4. Add a bit of rice (white or wholemeal) and cook until everything is very soft. Once cool, pack into portions and freeze. My dogs love it! They are mostly fed barf and this is a very welcome change for them.
  21. Well done Pearl Healing vibes are on their way. Kudos kelscats for letting her go to her forever home. It must be so hard ...hugs. (I've failed on my second foster. He came and I could not let him leave)
