Agree. We've used Glyde for a while now and I think it works better than anything else.

My Honbun can be a bit reactive when introduced to a new dog. I've started walking her (off leash) at 5am - she gets to read all the news (aka sniff) and run at will without anyone else bothering her. Maybe very early mornings are an option for you Snook

I really think this is a great suggestion! The best thing is to try and see what works best. I have experimented with most good brands and keep coming back to Holistic Select. It works best for my team. I would not know that unless I've tried other brands. BTW, Royal Canin is a very decent food - my sister's dogs love it and it is the best food for them. Edit: I've been feeding them mostly barf for quite a while now and have second thoughts about it. We are experiencing a few 'unexplained' skin issues and I am considering putting them back onto steak + HS kibble

Apologies. I have not read the whole thread. For my 3, the best dry food is Holistic Select. I have tried many premium dry foods and HS is the only one that does no harm - ie they have great coats and no skin or tummy problems. I mostly feed barf but sneak 1/2 cup of dry for their lunch. dannyBC, HS has special working dog food.

We've got 5 - obviously must like them a bit. I think they offer insuficient protection on hard floors but are perfectly adequate on carpet and raised beds.

During our travels in China we saw many street/village dogs like that. It is very unlikely that the dog belonged to anyone or that it will be missed.

I am always searching for new, more exciting treats for my loves. Well, today the babes got something special.. 1) Loyalty Seafood Sticks Shark Cartilage - 100% Australian from non protected species 2) Loyalty Seafood Gems Green Lipped Mussel - 100% Australian and 100% green lip mussel. They loved it!!!
