  1. Many many thanks for the information. I tried the search but failed. Will do so again
  2. Can anyone recommend a good boarding place for a cat near Vineyard (Sydney West)? Not my cat, just trying to help my mum's friend who wants to board her cat for a week. Many thanks
  3. You need to experiment with kibble. I've found Holistic Eagle Pack Lamb is most suitable for my lot. They eat raw in the mornings (barf, sometimes lamb necks) and kibble in the evenings. One of my dogs is allergic to chicken and beef.
  4. Check if www.petdeli.com.au delivers frozen turkey necks to your area http://petdeli.com.au/category/108-canine-barf-raw-food-sydney-deliveries-only.aspx Highly recommended supplier.
  5. Love, Love, Love Ruby  Magnificent photography as always.
  6. Glad I am not the only one having a party during storms  I am lucky the 3 seem to re-assure each other. Kajtek was a blubbering mess when he joined us - shakes, hiding under the bed, the whole being terrified routine. At some point he seems to have worked out that he was missing all the fun and treats (he is the total glutton ) .
  7. My 3 are now pretty much bullet proof as far as the storms/fireworks/etc go. I just made the noise and lights 'fun' for them. Every time there is a storm we all wait for the 'kabooom'. We cheer, eat treats, laugh and I do the silly things like clapping hands, hopping around, etc. Not the most scientific approach but happiness seems to be infectious. I am not sure if this is the right way or I just got lucky. Maybe it's worth a try? On another note, it took me 3+ months to integrate my FF boy into the flock. Failure was not an option as I fell in love :D. Kajtek came to us uber-stressed and my Queen-Bee really didn't like him being here. It took vigilance, patience and time to make the magic happen for us.
  8. You need a KeepSafe/Break-Away Collar to avoid collar injuries (choking). I have 3 dogs with 'fat + lots of skin' necks and have been using Chipie collars for walking for 8 years now. Fantastic stuff!! http://www.bowhouse.com.au/p/400456/chipie-dog-collar.html
  9. Great photos. Thank you :D Well done to all.
  10. Priceless suggestions. Many thanks. DOLer rock big time :-) I am seeing my sister tomorrow and I'll let her choose :-)
  11. My mum, who is quite elderly now, has used cabbage leaf for ever and ever. It's quite an old remedy. Sure works on humans.
  12. Wow! You are both very talented. I'm really keen to get my hands on a full rainbow so the search continues. Please let me know if you find something.
  13. They are beautiful. Thank you. Would you have a pic of a full rainbow?
  14. Does anyone have a great pic of a rainbow they wish to sell? I am looking for a pressie for my sister - something awesome and unique. Let me know. Thank you
  15. I just saw this. May bad karma and bubonic plague affect those who let this girl suffer so much. Kudos to those helping. Donation has been made.
  16. this face. Thank you Frodo's mum
  17. Happy Birthday my Princess Lots of love from auntie Anna and the Bully team
  18. Probably this doesn't help much, but..... I've been feeding Holistic Select forever. My guys (bull breeds) love it and thrive on it - yes, yes we add raw for its 'entertainment' value. I've tried lots and lots of 'high end brands' - so far nothing beats HS.
  19. Sleep well handsome Hamlet. May you dream of green meadows, wonderful smells and feral cats on trees that you detect every time. Huge from the Kajtek family
  20. Cool beds, cool bandanas.... none of ours will have it. They positively hate them. I've spent $$$ on this and that and it's a no go for us. The only thing that seems acceptable is resting under our bed!
  21. Yes, Yes to both!! Patricia McConnell also has videos that are fab! Well worth watching.
  22. It seems good to me but I'd do it on the proviso that I have the right to keep the dog when she returns. 1-2 years is a long, long time. She may no longer want the dog when she gets back, you may have fallen in love, the dog may not want to go to her, etc.
