  1. So very sorry huski. Too young to go RIP beautiful, beautiful Mischa. You will be missed.
  2. Great update and news. Thank you so much DDD. On another note.... I've got some kefir grains that I could share. I've been making my own kefir and it's wonderful - we and the dogs have some every day. Kefir grains are supposed to eat up lactose in milk so it's l-free. Here is the link plus there is lots and lots of info on youtube. http://www.culturesforhealth.com/kefir Let me know if you would like some grains to make your own kefir :-)
  3. K9 Green Tripe addicts here.... We love it!!!! The bullies. (PS Mum says it stinks to high heaven but it's really the best)
  4. Hi DDD :D - Don't post often but you and the lovelies are often in my thoughts. Hope the gorgeous boy coped ok in this heat wave.
  5. We did stem cell treatment twice on Kluska (RIP). The first lot improved her well being considerably for 12-18 months. The second did a big, fat nothing except hurt my wallet. Would I do it in the future. Yep, 100%. It may or may not work but the chance of giving your dog a pain free/medication free year is definitely worth it.
  6. I read 'Trouble', I think pig....
  7. Don't know about love but I think this is why I assume they are bonded to me: The bully 'I love you' look . Hankdog, I guess you know the one The bully 'talking'. The little 'kisses' they dish out at every opportunity. (Yeah, I know - just my interpretation) The velcro factor. Their obedience and looking at me for direction. Well, most of the time hehe.
  8. It's one year since you've been gone. I have missed you terribly every single day of that year . I want you to know that your adopted baby HonBun and the resident troublemaker Kaj are doing ok. HonBun is still the PR mistress and Kaj is still the play police . They are both getting a bit old now, slowing down a bit and I am hoping 2015 is not their year to depart. Papa and I miss you so much. Sleep well my love. I will do another post in January 2016.
  9. Deepest condolences RIP little Ness girl. Yes, it does get a bit easier as one forgets. I wish you the happy memories and the joy of knowing a very special being.
  10. Why don't you try a frozen water melon? It takes some time to freeze it but the joy is awesome (IME)
  11. :cheer: What a good dog you are Danny. I am with VM.... it's a dog's dream to have a mum like you.
  12. to you and Danny. When the kids (dogs) were little I used to use goats milk as a treat. They loved it. Perhaps some goats milk with nutrigel and honey?
  13. Same here. I've set up an emergency fund for my dogs. It has paid for some fairly costly treatments. I think it works out better for multiple dog households
  14. Ahhh thank you hankdog. There were 3 bully lovelies. Now it's only 2 of them.
  15. Oooops Now everyone knows .... Thank you DDD  Hope you've had a great Boxing Day.
  16. Oh gosh! Liverwurst perhaps? Danny, Go.Eat.Someting.NOW!
  17. Coconut oil WORKS!!!! Two applications and their noses are so, so much better. So are my hands (hehe) Thank you to all who have helped.
  18. Thanks. I will try. No thyroid problems here but you got me thinking..... It may very well be age related - they are both quite 'mature' hehe
  19. Thanks. Will do. I didn't know about that. I wonder why - may need to ask Google:-). Staying inside is very much their choice. Someone is at home about 90% of the time so they come and go as they please.
  20. Run free beautiful blue-eyed lady.
  21. Please be a little careful with these. I used to use them to wipe the faces of my bullies each morning and, after a while, they caused skin irritation. I have stopped that practice now. + 1 on Malasep. Maybe you could dilute Malasep 1:10 and use that on your dog. Please check with your vet or someone here may know if that's ok to do.
  22. Thank you so much for the suggestions I will definitely try coconut oil and sardines.
