If I can't take my lot like you I simply dont go! It is suprising how many dog friendly accomodations there are around. It isnt always easy to get somewhere that allows 4 dogs but we have managed so far, even staying in a one room motel room in the middle of a concrete jungle, with a patch of grass for toileting. it was an interesting stay for sure!! I frequently visit my mum, she lives 8 hours from me in fact I just came home from her place on Wednesday. The dogs were brilliant in the car sleeping the whole way with only one pit stop on the way home. I would not enjoy a holiday without them, they are my family, I think I would worry about them to much to enjoy a holiday if I left them behind.

Just lovely RA, Beautiful photo too!!

Congratulations on your new boy, he is a stunner!! I never tired of looking at any of your photos, they are all fantastic and inspiring. How does the little dude like him? Hope he fills some of the void left by Roc. I got Cooper not long after our old boy went to the bridge and although we could never replace him Cooper helped us enormously. Have fun with your boy, look forward to more pics soon!!

I work at Bunnings Cooper would be an explorer, we always say we should have named him Cook after Captain Cook, he is the leader of the pack on our walks and always makes sure he has explored every inch of where ever we go. By night he could be a pool or card shark, he is one cool cat Lacy would be kind of a Paris Hilton type, she loves herself and thinks everyone else should love her too, other dogs and humans alike, we call her the princess and it suits her so well!! Tullys is kind of a sporty spice type of dog, I think in a human profession she would be an elite athelete, involving balls of course. And the bub of the group Bronson, well he would probly be a dole bludger that never is far from his mumma side and if he went to do any type of job it would be something involving food, maybe a food critique (sp) or a taste tester that eats every last morsel Great idea for a thread, Im loving it!!

Tried To Get A Shot Of Me And The Pooches..
tlc replied to becandcharch's topic in Photos, Photos, Photos
Everything crossed here for you Bec, good luck!! On a side note, where can I get a remote trigger for my nikon, is it just as easy as ebay? are they expensive? Its tough to get shots using the timer 10 seconds is not enough time to get into position and the more I hurry the more the dogs think it is a big game and get excited!! -
Beautiful shots!!

Love em Bec, great shots. Charch looks so funny just sitting there waiting so patiently while Asha is acting the goat!! She reminds me of my pup (well not really a pup he's 2 now) he does exactly the same thing. I have tried to get shots of me with 2 each side and it just doesn't work Ive been away and was just wondering did you get your camera back? also how did you go with your photo 5 pic? -
Well I guess this is really the 2nd shot of the 11/52 but I wanna keep up, not sure where I went wrong!! Can anyone explain what the big circle is above Coopers head? Is it catch light from shooting into the sun??

that means I missed a week somewhere along the line, Oh goodie will post another one. :D

I agree Jess they are that for sure!! I think it sucks that there is not a lot of places that are safe off leash for dogs, I mean like a dedicated area. Albert park is ok but we have to share it with horses and my lot and horses off lead are not a good combo. I was talking to a friend last night (not a DOLer) and she thinks we (W'bool dog people) should get a petition together to get the council to have/make a dedicated dog place for dog lovers where they can take thier dogs and not worry about wild life and let their dogs off leash without having to worry. I have had emails from both the Moyne Shire and the WCC and dogs are only allowed on the rail trail on lead and there is a lot of sections where dogs are not allowed at all. All of the rail trail in Koroit no dogs allowed not even on lead. Dont think it will ever happen that dog lovers in W'bool will have thier own area??

Hi Guys, Im away at the moment, but have access to the net today, so just thought Id jump on and see whats been going on. The name of the dog chiro in Warrnambool is Gary Parsons, I have had 3 of mine to him and he was good, although Coop had the same reaction as Darcy when he manipulated his hip and apparently it wasnt right and clicked into place and hes been great ever since! But Cooper was less than impressed as he screamed in pain when he did it, so like you Jess I have never gone back. Tanya has used him to and I think she thought he was good as well!! Jess, As far as i know Pandii is no longer on DOL. Hope everyone is good and all doggies are going well!!

Geez Jess, that all sounds double dutch to me but all very impressive!! Lovely to see such dedication to your sport!!
-
Tez, hows Jane tonight, hope she is back to her normal self!! JJ, sounds like you have a lot on your plate atm, and puppies how exciting!! The cold damp tent doesn't sound like much fun but as long as you had a good time thats the main thing!! I have been able to get out and about with the dogs between the showers, I think there was one day I didn't go and that was Friday the rain hardly let up at all that day! Tanya, I haven't got a clue about how to stop the grass burn, I do remember something about some rock that you put in thier drinking water that is supposed to stop the grass burn. Get in here Tenties and let us know how you went!!
-
Jess sounds like you had a good weekend all up, your little one sounds like she is co,ming along fabulously, its great when all the hard work you put in finally pays off!! I didnt get there to have a look, as I went for a walk with Tez and Maws in the arfternoon, then had to come home to clean my car and get ready to go away as I havent done a thing and Im heading off on Wednesday and have to work today and tomorow. Tenties, how did you go at the show? and JJ did you put any of your girls in this time? Tez and Maws, thanks for the walk, my lot were all over tired last night and they were wrestless all night, not sure if it was a case of to much excersise or that I didn't feed them as much as I normally would, (you know the dieting and all) anyway all good today. Hope everyone is having a good long weekend!!
