Hi Tanya, you will be hanging out for 3 more weeks, you have had a long road to recovery. Hopefully your knee will be good as new!! Im not much into shoes!!

Kirislin, I hope your doggies are feeling better soon. a while back, 2 of mine got it, all 4 of them were around a dog that had it. The owner was elderly and when I asked him had the dog been coughing long, he said oh a couple of days, he didn't realize it was KC. ;) I quickly bundled mine off away from the dog with the cough, much to thier disgust as it is one of their doggy buddys. I was hoping that they wouldn't get it but sure enough the next day 2 of them were coughing, not badly but intermittently and it was worse if they ran around. So I rang the vet he said no need to bring them in unless they get worse as they have been vaccinated, apparently if it gets worse and left untreated can turn into a secondary infection. Anyhow after about 3 days there was no more coughing and I let them rest another couple of days before I took them anywhere. The other two never got it at all and I still took them out in the meantime.

It was a bit of a weird day here, I knocked off work and took the dogs to the park we went to the other day and there was this mist kind of rolling in but it wasn't cold at all, anyway the doggies got a run so that was good, we didn't go this morning as Cooper had a rough night, he wasn't well but I couldn't figure out what was wrong with him, he just wasn't himself and up and down and in and out most of the night till about 4 this morning, so after not a lot of sleep we had a quite morning then I had to go to work, so I thought Id head out after work and he seems a lot better tonight thank goodness!! And even ate all his tea!! So no other news yet??

More great shots, Love Jamie with the ball, you can see the obsession in the eyes :D I have a ball crazy one too!! Fiona, Love the one or Archie on his back, does he have two different colored eyes? I have noticed it in a couple of pics but the one of Archie and Mort together it is really noticable. Or is it a trick of the camera??

If you want somewhere really and I mean really close to the spirit, there is an off leash dog park not far from there. It is called gas works, it is not huge but there is seats and toilets and water for doggies, we go there a lot when we go to Melbourne its great!! http://wikimapia.org/573302/Gasworks-Park I agree too about Brighton beach but it is a long way from where you get off the boat.

Made me feel sick just watching that, I could imagine how much distress it would cause my lot if I did that to them, no way!!

Wow you sure have a long trip ahead of you. I travel a bit with my lot, the furtherest we go is 8 hours away and they have all been doing this trip since they were pups. I don't stop often usually once now that they are a bit older but when they were pups I would stop a couple of times around 3 hourly. Mine all wee on command but before they learnt this I found that as soon as we stopped they would go which was great. I don't give mine treats or any kind of chew toys while I drive if Im on my own. and I just feed them thier normal food the night before. I think if they don't get car sick you would need to feed on the trip as they may be antsi if they get hungry. How come you have to medicate your older dog, doesn't he like the car? I'm not sure why mine are so good in the car, my mum thinks it is good managment, maybe it is just luck or the fact that we do spend a lot of time in the car and have done since they were young pups. They sleep all the way and are not much company really if I am on my own. I have one spot on our trip that is off lead so they can get out and have a really good stretch before we get on our way again. The last trip we did only last week, one stop there and that was it. 8 hours and they slept the whole way. Do you know if there is any spots along the way where you can let them have a good run? Hope your trip goes well, sounds like a great adventure!! edited to add, I always have my lot with id on thier collars just incase god forbid they got out or we had an accident. Also they are strapped in with the seat belt clips. Also with regards to tea I think you would be better to give them thier regular food, if you change it, it may upset tummys?? Do they usually get car sick?? Another good tip is have nappy wipes on hand for any accidents that may occur, I also find this handy if I am eating so I can wipe my hands!!

Well thats just down right nasty, do you mean actually taken your pics or used your ideas? I agree with JS, maybe watermark across your shots so they are harder to be copied!

I am by no means professional but I guess it is in the eye of the beholder, if people like the style and are willing to pay money for a piece of art then I guess that makes it feesable, but to say pro after 4 months, mmmm I'll leave that the experts to judge. Do you have a link to some of the "pro" work??

thats so cute!!

Lovely shot, what a georgous girl!!
-
Oh what a sweet girl, she has a lovely adorable face!! Have fun with her!!
-
Great shots Helen, that first shot is just magical, love it!!

Poor Puppy, his only crime was eating something that had obvioulsy been left where it should not have been!! I would not have heaps of money lying around to pay for an expensive operation but I would find it, I'd take out a loan if I had to. But I am very lucky to have a great vet that allows me a running tab!! I think there are just lots of people out there that don't look upon thier dogs as part of thier family they are just a dog to them.
