Congrats on the new camera! My cat in the pics here is jus a moggy, no particular breed. She will be 21 this year so she's a ripe old age but still going strong!! Post a pic of your kitty here.

All good advice above, nothing to add really. I'm surprised with such an on going issue the vet hasn't done a GA and checked and cleaned both ears thoroughly, When my oldest boy now 6 was a youngster he had 2 perforated ear drums, and I didn't even know, a few head shakes and I thought he may have had a grass seed so off to the vets we went, they had to put him under as there was no way they were getting near his ears (he was very touchy, obviously in pain) and that is what they found, with perforated drums they can't have a topical application and must have AB tablets till the drum has time to heal. The vet had no idea what could have caused it especially in both ears. With your boy being a rescue who knows what could have happened before hand, he could have grass seeds or anything causing the infection. Diet is a likely candidate for infection as others have already said. Hopefully you can get to the bottom of it and find out the cause. Good luck.

Great photos of non whippets running! Love the lab one, so typical!

JJ, did the staff there really have any interest to begin with, the whole store is a disgrace! They really are clueless, they don't even talk to their customers and I for one spend a lot of money in pet (type) shops but they won't be getting a cent of me ever again!! Jess, nice to see you pop in, thanks for the birthday wishes, hope your girls are well. Not much news from me, went to a 21st last night, had an absolute ball, just editing the many photos I took as I was appointed official photographer, it was a great night, we laughed so much my stomached ached all night. My unofficial birthday celebrations begin this week, Tuesday night to be exact since all my birthday plans were put on hold as I took off to my mums to help her out as she has been unwell. I had plans with a friend who was coming to stay but we postponed as I wasn't home. bring on my days off, lots of shopping and going out to dinner and really looking forward to it as my birthday last year was a bust due to being sick! Anyway Tanya hows life as a Mumma going, still waiting on a pic of your little beauty, hope she is doing well.

Aghhh I figured it out, I had to change the settings, thanks Pers for making me go back and have a second look!

I have picasa and I used to do them in that but for some silly reason now when I go to do a collage the photos automatically fill the page. I love picasa and it used to be easy but for some reason it doesn't like me lately!

Ok thanks, Ill give it a go, Ruth said she uses Adobe InDesign, I think that might be another part of PS? Just checking it out now, might be a whole other program.
-
Like THIS I might have to flick Ruth a Pm and ask her what she uses if she doesn't pop in here first.
-
No No just one photo, so in the photo the photo might be on the right and the other half of the photo is just a plain colour. Im trying to find an example, actually I think Ruth uses them in on her Facebook page, Ill have a look and see if I can find one.

Hi Guys, I was hoping someone could steer me in the right direction, I am wanting to do some photos where you have the photo on one said and the other side a colour that you can do text on. I'm just not sure what program to use or if there is a user friendly one i can download. Ive got a mac, but I thought there might have been a net based program I could use. Hoping someone has some ideas for me. Ill see if I can find an example so you know what I mean.

Great shots, Don't forget with different times of the day in different conditions you can alter the Exposure Compensation to help out with light. Looks like your enjoying your camera, and what lovely subjects you have to shoot!
-
For sure, I wish I loved closer, do you sometimes have other breeds that have a run? Two of mine would be in their element chasing the lure!
-
No it definaltey doesn't, I understand about pack dynamics I have four remember! Not whippets but dogs just the same. I liked the Facebook page, I enjoy your photos and your dogs are lovely.
-
I love that one its a great shot. Ok I understand perfectly now, its not so they can't catch the lure its more of a prey drive pack thing.
-
Great shots, looks like a fun day! Question why do the dogs wear the muzzles? I noticed in one photo one dog had the foxtail (lure?) in its mouth. Sorry I sound clueless I have no clue! Just curious.

Mine used to have supercoat but it was only a small portion of their diet. Not sure how they would go on it if it was their only food?

Problem With Hair Snagging In Guard On Clipper
tlc replied to fuzzy82's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Have you tried the blade on its own? Sometimes with new blades if they are not aligned properly they won't cut. Can you try just the blade only on an inconspicuous part of the dog? I was only talking to the guy who sharpens my blades about this the other day, I have a 5 blade and I got it brand new from clipper world and it will not cut at all just snags and he said they can need adjusting and then all should be fine. What sort of dog? Before I got my stainless steel guide combs I used plastic and they won't through my cocker x poodles costs worries. -
Dora is gorgeous! Looks like the boys love her too!

Have you had a chance to have a play yet?
