  1. 10? Damn, he's a handsome sod despite his age... must be the love and care he gets from his human... *grin* T.
  2. Awww... nothing like a big strong man cradling a little dog... T.
  3. Mine would be at it while the fire was still under it... lol! At least yours has better sense... T.
  4. The look on Nova's face is priceless! Is she leaving the box for any alone time and to give her boobies a rest yet? T.
  5. Poor Nova, they will be able to find the milkbar faster now... T.
  6. Being up at 1am cleaning up Dane cross vomit when you have to get up at 3:45am is a bit of a reality check... lol! The old girl Zeddy is 15 and would probably disown me if I brought another pup home... I don't think that she needs to cope with puppies any more - after so many fosters I have had through here over the years. I already have to make sure the Horse Puppy doesn't knock her over when they go outside for a wee... T.
  7. Pickles' issue is a scar in her brain... it's not likely to get worse... or better. She walks like a marionette, but can run like a bullet... *grin* The thing with dogs is that they don't look at these things the way we do, they just enjoy the life and love they have from their families... and that's just fine too. I know that Pickles' mobility issues mean that she has developed musculature that allows her to be as mobile as she is, but that sometime down the track her walking style may take it's toll... until then all I can do is love my little Spastic Camp Dog... she so loves life! T.
  8. *must remember puppy squirts and vom-bombs and destructo chewing* Wait a minute I have one of those already! She's 30kgs and 2 years old... errr! Just imagine all the nasty habits she could teach a little brother or sister... "hey kid, Mum loves it when you bring an especially nasty poopie in from outside and proceed to chew it into little pieces in the hall"... T.
  9. *must be strong* *must be strong* *must be strong* T.
  10. NOOOOOOO!!!!! Can't have puppy right now! Me wants so much though... T.
  11. Pet quality here too... but even pets have a heart to offer... *grin* T.
  12. *can't have another puppy just yet* *can't have another puppy just yet* *can't have another puppy just yet* T.
  13. Jill, talk to lillypilly... she had a great relationship with Wollondilly pound and can tell you who the right people to talk to there are. On several occasions they would even go so far as to deliver dogs to us... T.
  14. I suppose in the end it is the VET's decision whether to euth an animal or not... and maybe it's not the vet NURSE's position to give certain advice to the client T.
  15. Maybe Nova can have a few extra hours of alone time more often now... it's not like the bubs will starve... *grin* T.
  16. Vets don't HAVE to do any procedure they don't want to do - there are no laws stating they have to euth animals just because a customer wants the dog gone. A good vet would discuss and try to convince the owners of their many other options that don't involve such a final disposal of their pet. T.
  17. Not much nastier than puppy squirties is there Allerzeit? Especially at this age when you are trying to keep them all as warm and dry as possible... Crossing fingers that it's just too much of a good thing, and the cultures come up negative for any yukky stuff. T.
  18. Have you ever felt the urge to see if Trouble likes bacon? *norty me* T.
  19. I told my Mum about these gorgeous babies and that when I was ready to have another puppy that I'd be contacting Allerzeit.... and she didn't do her usual "you don't need another dog" routine... I suppose that the fact we were marvelling over the amazingly gorgeous and well tempered 10 week old ACD pup my cousin had just got from a great registered breeder might have had something to do with my mother realising that a pedigree pup from a good breeder would be a good thing... T.
  20. The local vet I go to refuses to euth perfectly healthy dogs unless the issue they present with is untreatable - ie. extreme DA or HA problems. T.
  21. Run free Angel... you now have the wings to go with the name sweet thing... T.
