I've had a few rescue foster pups... here are some faves... Zoe Willow meeting Zeddy... Winston (now called Herc) Clyde James getting goosed by Flower Bindi Dexter giving Trouble a pat Buster doing his Aliens impersonation Buster all safe and sound T.

I wish I lived in Victoria... *sigh* T.

Trouble has her name for a reason... but you wouldn't guess it from this photo... I love this one of Trouble and Zeddy together... My fave one of Zeddy... telling me she didn't just snaffle another dog's Puppacino... T.

OK - what about slowing down the dodgy commercial mass puppy breeders by insisting that the RSPCA (or any other body that has the powers) actually go in there and enforce the current laws that are being broken. Until the people responsible for policing the laws actually do so less than intermittently, we ain't going to see anything change - new laws or not... Get the RSPCA to go with Debra on some of her puppy farm raids that she has pics posted of all over her website... surely those sort of places can be shut down under the current laws? Maybe some of the money that is earmarked for policing any new laws could be better spent possibly advertising on TV, radio, print media, etc with some very real info on where so many of those cute little fluffy puppies in the stores actually come from? T.

When my Lab was a pup, doing the poo patrol was always an adventure... The best was one day she had been playing in a mud puddle and scoffed a gutful of mud - and she had done a perfect poop all made only of mud! Truly weird! ... oh... and we STILL don't know where the missing remote battery went - the vets swear blind it wasn't inside her... only bits of chewed up rock... err!! T.

We certainly have plenty of velvety ears for rubbing at my place SheWolf... lol! T.

They are too cute for words, that's definitely the truth. Had them outside yesterday evening while I cleaned up the day's mess in the playpen... and the little buggers decided that playing in the rain and getting all wet was a good idea... *sigh* At least I don't have any mud puddles in the yard, or I'm sure they would have had a riot of a time in one... T.

It's way too cute when they have those really fun dreams, isn't it? I think the one who needs training right now is Mum... err! T.

I'd probably qualify the above with something more along the lines of "backyard bred, undersocialised, and undertrained dogs tend to develop poor temperaments anyway" Not all backyard bred dogs are going to be problem dogs - it really does come down to getting out what you put in - well bred dogs can be nasty little things when owned by idiots too... T.

They aren't always cute... it's the nice camera that takes good photos that makes them look cute... *grin* You are welcome to come play with my babies anytime too ruthless... T.

I'm gonna stick my neck out here and bet that the BF gets a new puppy for Christmas... grrr! T.

Well... you could lose the husband... then get another dog.... haha! T.

those extremely cute beagle pups keep popping up where ever I go! I seriously need to hide from Tdierikx's posts.......... tells self *cannot possibly get a second dog atm* Two dogs are twice as much fun and cuddling... I should know - never less than 2 here (currently have 3 pups, 1 adolescent, and 2 adult dogs) T.

The best puppy toys are really cheap... empty toilet rolls or paper towel rolls are a big fave with all of my fosters! Then there are plastic soft drink bottles - they LOVE those! You can get a small Coke bottle, put a little bit of uncooked rice in the bottom, tighten the lid, and roll it on the floor for hours of fun... lol! T.

Willow gets on fine with my Lab and my Rotti X... *grin* T.

How about a Beagle pup I ♥ Bindi~Boo?? I have a couple of those as fosters too... and they are pure Beagle (no pedigree though - puppy farm mum)... T.

I used to work 12 hour shifts - with 45 mins traveling time on either end of that... my dogs can hold on for ages... lol! T.

Yes - Willow is a rescue foster puppy - and she has 2 pure beagle fosters sisters as well... Willow was a surrender (I don't ask why any more - people are crazy), and the beagles were born in rescue from a dog rescued in a puppy farm evacuation. The scruffy dog is also a foster... T.

I have a Cavalier pup in foster care at the moment - would you like to see pics of her too? She is very pretty... almost as pretty as Georgea... almost... she's definitely not as well bred... T.

It's not really that hard to hand them over to their specially chosen new families... only the best homes are chosen for my fosters... *grin* T.
