I remember Penny doing that to Puck. He was a defiant little turd and she was at him for probably an hour or so, and never really tamed him. I dont think he ever really gave up, and he's still got attitude today, but I love him for it. He's not an aggressive dog, but there's something cheeky about him. It's like he says, "you cant make me do that". He especially does it to Marcus who finds it irritating. I always tell him Puck's saying "you're not the boss of me" Zeddy and Trouble were the best foster helper mums for all the rescue pups that came through here... all the pups turned out pretty darned good under their tutelage... lol! Trouble taught them how to dig holes in the lawn - Pickles was Miss Tittle-tat about that - and Zeddy taught them good doggy manners by only putting up with so much before she flattened them... hehe! Harper only got to help with a few fosters, but she was the best big sister ever... for such a big girl, she can be incredibly gentle with the little ones... T.

I remember when Zeddy had her pups... the only boy pup was a feisty little bugger and was always pushing the boundaries... One day he wanted boobie, and she didn't want to give him any, so he had a go at her - to which she responded by chasing him around and knocking him down and telling him off in no uncertain terms. Each time he was rolled, he fought back... and she kept doing it until he didn't fight back. It was pretty ferocious stuff, and she wasn't being any too gentle about it - but eventually he got the idea and settled down to behaving properly. Watching how dogs deal with naughty/cheeky pups is so educational - no pups are usually hurt in the process, but sometimes the little ones can scream like they are being killed... lol! T.

I really love your eye for composition perse... you see things in ways others just can't... and are able to share via the camera lens... awesome! T.

Yeh TD, I've been Mr Sheening them thrive daily :D Oh hey and mate, please don't think you should explain who your preferred breeder is. I am a huge believer that all owners should research their breeder first and feel comfortable with them. And when you get to that point, the puppy will come. You should stick with allerzeit, she is terrific. Plus my puppies are all sold and have been for months. In all seriousness, I'd have pretty much any Rotti puppy on offer... but I do have my heart set on a nice even tempered boy from one of Allerziet's future litters. Add that to the fact that I have 3 dogs and 2 pet foxes already at the moment... not looking to get another puppy for a while yet... lol! It's awesome that you have homes for all of yours already... takes the temptation away completely... hahaha! ... and I'll come hunting you down if you don't keep up the puppy photo spam! T.

I really need to take you out to Fox Rescue... they have a 3 week old rescue puppy at the moment... and a bunch of kittens of varying young ages too! Oh - and we need to cross patting a fox of your to do list, yes? T.

I actually board my one that has this issue when I go away... a friend comes and feeds the others... Worth thinking about if it's not during school holidays when all the boarding kennels are ful... T.
