We did puppy pre-school with the Hamilton Vet for Morty in 2008 but are doing it with Brunker Rd Vets with the new puppy - enrolled for the Feb class in fact (we pick up our new pup on the 22nd Jan) ..... Brunker Rd do them most nights (Mon - Thurs) whereas Hamilton Vet does them Wed (evening) or Sunday (daytime) If you do decide to go with Brunker Rd then we are enrolled in their classes starting the 15th Feb (Mon pm) - 5 week course (no pups the first week) - so maybe we might see you there (can trade GSP puppy cuddles for some DDB cuddles! )

thanks for that Freckles (I should have explained that 4.30pm is the time the OH has to be there as he is stewarding both Friday and Sat pm and he'll have to help set up everything for the trials rather than it being the starting time ) Looks like Saturday afternoon is going to be the one I will be able to make (as I have to work on Friday) ....so hopefully see some of you there

Hi to those coming to the Hillsborough show next weekend - just wanted to check what time your shows begin? - the Obedience trials are on Friday and Sat evening (from around 4.30pm) is the conformation shows on during the day or in the evening? I'm an ecological hazard then - drive a 4wd (in the city) and have 1 (it will be 2 in 12 sleeps time) large breed dog/s - however my boy do (and will) eat veggies and fruit as well as meat oh and yes I have a cat too ..... Oh and I refuse to buy recycled toilet paper! (ugh!) but we try to reduce our carbon footprint in other ways (shopping for locally produced fruit and veg, recycling, green power etc) - besides there's not much meat on a GSP so it wouldn't sustain anyone very long

Mine for the day continuing on with the "whats at the bottom of the garden" theme from yesterday - playing around with colour and exposure a touch this time - I don't usually modify my photos (aside from cropping and a little sharpening) so playing with colours and exposures etc is very new territory for me - so one baby step for me

I am more than happy for multi dogs to be posted on the Flickr group - our new puppy arrives in 15 sleeps (yeah I'm counting so I had plans to photograph him growing throughout the year as well .... so my vote would be for multi-dogs here too I reckon - the more the merrier

I think the hair analysis technique that they are referring to is a physical analysis of a sample of the hair to a laboratory and a subsequent breakdown of minerals, chemical levels and such that build up in the hair strand itself over time ... its a common tool (and becoming more common) used for humans by Naturopaths (and some Herbalists) at the moment ....

Well with a new puppy arriving in 16 sleeps I was planning on photographing him as well as Morty so feel free to do each of your dogs .... everyone is welcome - just keep a good number system on your photos and we can trace them through the year
