Which dogs in which events? (If I can be nosy ) If it's on the weekend I might try and get down to watch. ;) Ruby in Open and Millie in Novice :D

Is this for a photography course or your animal course? Just curious because I start the animal course this week and wondering what class that would be in Ohhh you never brought your assignment down to show me on the weekend! Bugger!! I really wanted to see what you did with the photos you used of Ruby

Yes I had Ruby measured in Bunbury, remember :rolleyes: I'm entering both girls, but reserve the right to withdraw either/both at any point leading up to the day, including a minute before we're due in the ring

Hey what about poor Millie and Mason, they just cant crack the nod can they they are going to have a complex soon, poor things. I love all Labs I have a soft spot for my Moo, she's definitely a mummy's girl! And Mason is a sweetheart, bit of a pushover when Ruby is concerned but a sweetheart I'm surprised as Ruby is usually submissive to all dogs. Did you see her when she first met cilabs 4 girls today? She was straight on her belly, tail wagging while they sniffed her.

I'll bring Millie next time. She's just a toy hog and will either sit by herself with the toys, or gets a bit possessive of the squeaky ones which I do not like one bit Ruby is just a social butterfly and will relinquish any toy to any dog cos she just wants to be liked Except she does enjoy a good game of keepy-off with Mason

I'll keep that in mind next time Ruby does something to make me mad

cilabs, I personally think all 5 yellow Labs that were there were the prettiest yellow Labs! I mean c'mon, yellow Labs, can it get any better? (ssh, don't tell Millie I just said that!)

Overrun with Labs and we were one Lab down with Millie at home! (she's making up for it now by laying in my lap as I type this... very hard to type!!)

We had a great day, bugger about the flat tyre though Ruby is sound asleep next to the heater, but little old Chloe is wide awake We were saying I needed my Aussie to herd up Chloe, the wee thing kept trying to head in the opposite direction to the group Nice photos, and yes look at all those yellow Labs (the best breed and colour quite obviously! :D :D)

I taught "take a bow" by capturing. First time I've used that method, thought I'd give it a shot (as I'm usually a fan of free shaping, or the occasional lure when I feel that will work better) and I have to say capturing the bow was an interesting approach!

My 16 year old only learnt how to sit in the past year, and even now it still isn't a solidly known command She has no recall, but she tries... she hears a voice calling, thinks she knows which direction it is being called from and heads in the opposite direction If she can't locate the human, she follows the scent of Ruby everywhere. She is very quick on her feet when she wants to be, chasing the big girls! She adores the Labs so much, it's hard for her when they're not there, she frets a little at night

Is OzJen coming tomorrow and bringing Giz? It could be lap dog overload, beating out the number of gundogs for a change!
