I don't want to accept crap work either, but at this stage, I'm just aiming for her not running out of the ring or up to the judge to say hello! Which she has done Dogs, who'd have 'em?!!!!
-
Good idea, if she's up for it Rivsky? I'll film you and River in return! Sure why not, am planning on trying to get lots of the Tollers on video too Thanks for the warning think I'll need all the rest I can squeeze in in that case Yay, thanks!! The filming for me may not last long, for reasons you'll probably hear about! I'm sure we'll meet before the trial
-
Really? I would have assumed they rotate the judges between the classes quite regularly for this very reason Which trials are you looking at entering?
-
Run free, Fitzy You will be missed Hugs to you, Labsrule That was such a beautiful tribute to a special boy.
-
Congrats!! Good idea, if she's up for it Rivsky? I'll film you and River in return!
-
Awesome!! I think I've seen photos of many Labs dock diving, so I'd love to try it with Ruby. Though it's Millie who could probably jump further, having springs in her feet and all! But she doesn't swim
-
I'm hoping this really takes off all around Australia, because I have a Lab who is a water baby (no, really! ) and would probably love this! Not to mention how much fun it looks for the handler, too! Oh and how rude of me, I forgot to say CONGRATS!!! Here's hoping you get picked!
-
Well done on the CCD pass DSO, and the Masters pass FHRP! (I admittedly don't know squat about agility titles ) What is Gamblers and all those other ones Ptolomy mentioned?
-
Congrats on the ALMOST pass, ness!! Bugger about the article :D Awww, no video?! *pouts* I'm gonna have to find a videographer for the Nationals! If you didn't have so many bloody dogs to enter Ptolomy, I'd be grabbing you to film Ruby running off in the ring!

Can anyone shed any light on how much an Aussie puppy is approximately at this point in time? And do they cost more to get a show potential pup? Do different colours cost different prices?
-
I'm glad I'm not drinking coffee otherwise it would be all over my screen right about now I didn't believe you that the cute little flufflball could be so noisy - boy did she prove me wrong! ;)
-
damn!
-
Thanks
-
Congrats Ptolomy and Scoota!!! :D As well as Brooklyn and Beans! Sorry, I'm a little dense - who actually ended up winning Open? I need a way to withdraw a few entry forms
-
If someone is doing an order, I'll order 4 medium i-squeaks please! Damn you Ptolomy for getting me onto these!!!
-
If I don't get round to using them in training then perhaps I keep meaning to as they are the perfect size for pockets, but scared of the choke factor!
-
Only the best toy EVER! They're a squeaky ball that are quite durable, and dogs go nuts for them! My Millie, who had no idea what playing was when she came to me, is now obsessed with her i-squeak. One squeak of it and my girls go nuts.
-
My 2 small i-squeaks are actually getting very little use. I'm too scared one of my girls will choke on it in their squeaky ball excitement Go the medium!
-
;) ;) i-squeaks are what I had in mind when I said I am sure I could find something to order......
-
Uh oh, now you've started them all..... I'm sure I could find something to order if others are...
-
I'm keen to try it as well, but the 8am start on a Sat morning is going to be a KILLER!! Perhaps I should just get over it and give it a go, if other newbies start at the same time then I might have some motivation :D
-
Me too, but it ain't gonna happen! :D :D

I second that, I've heard great things! -
Clicker Training for Obedience is a great book, from what I've read of mine so far. It's by Morgan Spector I believe

Change Of Position In Novice
RubyStar replied to OSoSwift's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
Yes! I had a recall that went in an arc shape to avoid the land mine in her direct line at the Western Classic! :D She's a silly thing, hates going near "weird" things on the ground. Like last week, refused to heel over a different coloured patch of grass
